Striker has a multitude of scars on his body. Some from when he was young and others as fresh as yesterday. He knows the danger he puts himself in daily so getting such scars means something to him. They tell a story of his life without saying a word. You see them and you know he's been through the ringer. Survived and pushed past whatever bullshit was thrown his way.
The first scar he received would be on his right ankle, going up towards his calf. A target caught him by surprise after he assumed he was dead. Stabbing him just above his bone before pulling the blade upward with enough force to tear open his skin and cut through his tendons. He shot the demon several times, making sure he was indeed dead, but getting out of there and to the hospital was a bitch. It sometimes affects his gait, as he can't put too much pressure on it without hurting.
The second significant scar he has is on his right side. It's a gunshot that wraps around it, with the entry wound at the bottom and the exit wound on the top. He received this one on the job, but it wasn't a mistake. Something he does feel some pride in due to being able to push through the pain and fight, then otherwise kill who they were. Like a battle scar, essentially, he doesn't shy away from sharing.
The third scar, or rather a multitude, as there's a large amount on him. Are slashes, and they're not just from blades, but claws from other demons, especially Goetia, who fight back. The largest by far is on his chest with three long slashes. They're fairly deep and discolored due to the force put upon him. Each one was stitched up by himself.
His left forearm has a fairly gnarly bitemark from a hellhound. It's not the prettiest looking and practically looks caved in. It was during a fight, not a hit, and he was fairly drunk. Started a bar fight due to an offhand comment, and well, one thing led to another. No one died, but he left pretty satisfied, even as he bled out, leaving the place.
Several stab wounds around his lower abdomen that he got from Millie when he fought her in Harvest Moon. They aren't as big, discolored, or wild-looking, but they're there. Something you can touch and feel and definitely see on his body.
Lastly, the burn scars, he's been tortured with hellfire for information. They used his hands first and about halfway up his forearms before he caved in. Crying out in pain to stop, which isn't something he likes to discuss or relive. In fact, it's hard for him to look at his hands as he often covers them up with gloves.
He's able to take them off and focus elsewhere. Push past his own trauma to focus, but when there's nothing but himself is a different story. However, like the others, it's still significant to him, like a reminder of what he's been through. That he can't let himself be taken down so easily or overcome.
Large belt buckles are essential to every outfit he owns. Whether casual or otherwise, they signify grit, dedication, and personal history, frequently featuring engravings that tell a story of victory. Many of which he's earned by winning competitions such as bull riding, steer wrestling, and bareback riding.
Others are commissions he's purchased, such as the one he wears constantly. This is due to the buckle itself hiding a knife within. He only ever changes this when he's not working and/or feels it's safe to go without. While it is convenient when in dire situations, the bulkiness does get in the way at times.
