On this night of the full moon and the last day of the Lunar New Year, it is customary in Horai to partake in a traditional bowl of Moonshine.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year in her great travels across the vast skies of Horai, The Great Rainbow Serpent felt something tickle on her hide. Something small. "Where do you hail from, small friend?" "I come from the Palace of the Dragon King. How pretty you are!" "Ah I see, I did just pass by... do you wish me to take you home? Or would you like to come with me somewhere else, far away?" "Somewhere else please! But maybe I shouldn't..." "I can return you by the next Lunar New Year." "Oh.. then I better not... can you take me back please." And so the youngest prince was dropped off home again. -- Happy Lunar New Year! ~W.

In times long past, The World-Between was blessed with dragons. The Grand Old Dragon King and his progeny, arranged by age. Like trees, they get bigger with time. Our current Dragon King was once quite quite small.

Drops of Gold An idea i wanted to do with Goethe's poem and Soh & Yoshiro from Kunitsugami. /talking to myself

 Tales trickle in of how in the Mortal world, there exist these beautiful things called stars– balls of burning gas that show themselves during the hours of the night. And how, in the Celestial world there are also somesuch similar to these stars. Juicily fat immortal fireflies fill their lofty skies fit to burst, like the packed seeds of a pomegranate. 

 Stars do not exist in Horai, the world-between. However, the subjects of the Dragon King’s realm do not mind, for what is there for the heart to desire for something that it has never known?

Foxfire - 6th Dragonlord Prince Lak'Lam The 6th brother. Astrologer, leader of the scholars and keeper of the tomes of knowledge. Was an avid stargazer, when The World-Between still had stars.

After the last star of Horai fell it sank him into such a deep depression that all he did was moongaze and drink himself stupid. Prince Lak admitted that things were ‘not quite the same’. His brothers have also said much the same of him.

Happily, the arrival of the seventh prince soon after that did much good to cheer him up, as he embraced the new task of busying himself as tutor to the youngest dragonlord.
