Obi Dome, ceramic

This Obi Dome is ceramic with an enamel painted design of fans. It is signed on the back side. Obi Domes are worn as a decoration over an Obi. A ribbon, webbing, or cords pass through the slot on the back side of the Obi Dome and then are tied behind the wearer’s back. I like to wear some of my favorite buttons as if they are brooches. Bakelite Button with Brass Moon and Carved Star

This brown Bakelite button has a stained brass moon escutcheon, with a very pleasing smiling face! The Bakelite has a carved star and carved light rays emanating from the moon. 3/8″ thick and 1 9/16 in diameter.
