#lol what is life #imagine ur biggest dream coming true and still being like ???#also I fully forgot this existed #lmao my friends and I always say that we're crying over something that we prayed night and day for #that acceptance high lasted for like 1w #but I think this year has just been kinda sad for me internally #also why is everything still competitive #I thought once u get in everything is easy #but I guess you can't just choose to do DERM or OPTHO or PLASTICS one day without suffering

#ok honestly I think lockdown is a terrible idea #from a public health perspective when you look at things like mental health/unemployment/domestic violence/etc #it doesn't make sense #and honestly I kind of feel like Covid is similar to a common cold infection #except people who have comorbidities may get really sick #but my grandmother who has cancer got it and she was fine?? bc other than the cancer she was perfectly healthy #but I can't say any of this bc we're all on this lockdown bandwagon #and maybe we should just focus on helping at risk people isolate and let the rest of society exist #also it's not like lockdown is working anyway #ALSO public health called me a full week after I got infected and was already better to tell me not to go out #like lmao thx #ALSO I got it bc I work at a senior home on the weekends and they had an outbreak #and I got tested and my results only came out like 6 days later???#pure incompetence

I got Covid (bc of a noble cause and not stupidity) and it felt like the common cold (or less)

#I know it’s diff for everyone but #ok is a lockdown justified #especially if you’re going to keep big stores like Walmart open where 1000s of people just waltz around #but shutdown a salon where max 2 people are going in at a time #I was mostly pro lockdown before but #this now seems ridiculous #honestly I’m pro open small businesses now
