ano gamit mong laptop? sa arki ba need ng laptop? alin mas maganda macbook or windows?:)

I had a couple of laptops in college, definitely windows. I had an acer workbook it's good enough for CAD but bad on 3d Software. I ended up with an HP Spectre 360, kinda flashy but it could handle lumion so it was good enough. I would get MSI laptops personally. But I did own a desktop pc which was better for everything I had to do for Arki.

Hi ate pat! I'm an incoming Interior Design student pero ngayon iniisip ko na kung ano po feeling na pagaralan yung mga softwares for Architecture/Interior Design like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc. Ano po experience niyo or blockmates niyo nung tinuro yung mga softwares sa inyo? Mahirap po ba at first or parang naglalaro lang ng tipong "The Sims"? 😅 May tips rin po kayo for anyone who's about to enter "design school" like kailangan po ba pag mag-aarki or ID, magaling na mag-drawing? 😓

It's going to be easy as you go on kasi masasanay ka na, experience ko personally I already knew a lot about the things we used so our professor asked me to help my blockmates during our sessions.

Yeah in general haha it did feel like I was playing Sims.

You don't really have to be good at drawing, Arki and ID are actually more technical than design really. Of course it's a fusion of both but in reality you only ever use a pen for sketches and concepts (very important though) and your design will be digital.

You'll do great and probably did great.

Surveying

ano po usually ang male to female ratio ng isang section sa arki? And ilan po kayo sa isang section hihi :--)

Usually mas marami babae sa isang section, sa lahat ng naging block ko less than 20 lang lagi yung lalaki pero it varies. Sa isang section max ata 45 students.

Thank you :) Nag review center type of review ako eh but in a smaller group, I'll check if i can find my modules. Sa drawing usually; simbahan, dream house, rizal monument, hand? I'm not going to say it's easy but it's easy syempre pag nagreview ka. And to pass arki may quota kasi kaya usually maraming nawawait list, and they have to take this drawing exam.

Paint Tip:

(Used 60/65 gsm, thicker is better) "Alcohol as substitute to water." Dries quickly on tracing paper without wrinkling the surface.

Drop a TA if someone wants dwg cad files of BT BU plates (2nd Year).

‪I thank my parents for also studying arki so that i could make use of their expensive old books in my own uni years.
