“Okay, I promise”, she sighed with a little smile. This guy’s persistence reminded her of Alya’s. “But if something embarrassing happens it’s all your fault. But okay, now tell me”.

“Awesome then I expect some news about you two together soon.” He only nodded at her next words. He wasn’t afraid to take the blame. “I’m good with that, but let me tell you, relationships are full of embarrassing moments.” When the situation switched over to Vanellope, his smile was on full blast. “We’ve been dating for a little while now, but we were friends for, like, ever before then. She’s the cutest thing ever. I don’t know what I’d do without her.”

Listening to Ralph’s voice made his heart stop briefly. Dipper wished Ralph never saw this side of him. Honestly, the younger Pines had secretly adopted his roommate as some kind of big brother and he didn’t want to be a disappointment. Ralph would have kicked the asses of this guys, but him? Nah, he just curled down in a ball just waiting for it to be over. “I– it’s nothing, Ralph. They– they left anyways”.

Ralph could feel the angry bubbling up in his chest. He knew that people bullied pretty often, but he didn’t realize the target was someone close to him. It made everything worse. He knew that Dipper could take care of himself, but he still wanted to get involved. “Who are they? Want me to go take care of them? Cause I will. I will go right now.” He stated while jabbing his thumb behind him.

“What’s wrong with that is I can handle myself! I don’t need you protecting me from every asshole around here. If you hadn’t noticed, everyones a jerk to me. If you keep hitting them then it’ll only get worse!” Vanellope all but screeched at Ralph. She loved her boyfriend, she really did, but sometimes his need to be the hero harmed her more than it helped. All the girl could think of was the look in the boys eyes as he walked away from Ralph. It was a look that told her he would be back and there were going to be more than names being thrown around.

Ralph’s arms crossed over his chest while his girlfriend continued to yell at him. He knew that he shouldn’t take it to heart, but he was and it was causing problems. “No, it won’t get worse! They’re going to leave you the hell alone now!” He hated to shout at her, but he was panicking inside. He didn’t want her upset with him but everything escalated too quick for him to handle. “Let me protect you, Van! Some people you can’t battle, okay? But I can. I want to do it for you.” He moved towards her, offering out his hands for her to grab. He just wanted to get back to how things usually were between them.

okay i rlly wanna finish danny’s replies (i’ve got half of them in his drafts done), i can’t really stay up any longer.

i’ll be on tomorrow to finish his up. i’m sorry i’m so shitty with replies guys!!

“Well, minus the bones and organs, right?” Edith was not someone who was easily grossed out and did not see a problem with the fact, their shoulders lifting and falling into a shrug. “I guess those could be in the peanut butter as well, but I’m not sure the FDA would actually approve that. It seems a little too unsanitary if you ask me.”

“I don’t know, are those in the peanut butter, too?” His question was both innocent and honest. Ralph had never given much thought to what was actually in things he ate. “Who knows what the FDA approves? They’re no fun.” He joked lightly.

“Oh, don’t lie.” Kimi laughed, knowing very well that she was a dork but she didn’t mind. “I can’t believe you don’t know the song. It’s a classic. Gwen Stefani? B-A-N-A-N-As? Not ringing a bell?” She shook her head. “This is the saddest moment of my life.”

“I’m not lying!” Ralph threw his hands up as if he were defending himself. The only songs he really knew were through his girlfriend. If Vanellope knew this song, she hadn’t showed him it just yet. “No, not at all. I’m sorry to make you upset.” He apologized quickly, casting his eyes down to the ground. “I’m not really educated on music. Van tries to help me, but it’s clearly not working.”

Elsa shrugged, “I’ve heard good and bad things both. I’m not sure what I believe myself just yet. But I guess I have a lot of time to figure it out.” Elsa smiled gratefully, this conversation was going much more smoothly than many she had had before. “As long as I’m not any inconvenience, I would be more than happy to join you.”

“That’s true, you have plenty of time to form your own opinion.” Ralph smiled over at the other. He was actually glad to have ran into someone like her. It seemed easy to talk to her which he appreciated. “If you ask me, I wouldn’t say it’s all that bad. It sucks being trapped, but I don’t think I’d want to change it.” He shrugged. He knew that very few people agreed with him. Ralph just didn’t want any trouble. “Not an inconvenience at all! Plus, I’d love to show you around.”

“Alright, operation pizza’s a go…we’ll think of a better name later,to the pizza!” He lazily declared, beginning to move forward towards the pizza place around the corner.

“So true.” Ralph couldn’t help but chuckle at the lame name. He didn’t care what they called it as long as he got food in the end. He trailed alongside the other until they made it to the pizza place. His mouth drooled at the smell of the air. “I could eat a whole pizza or two by myself.”

“I don’t understand, Van!” Ralph threw his hands over his head as his frustrations with his girlfriend only increased. He had thought that she’d think he was some kind of hero for swooping into save the day. Some guy had been harassing her. While he understood that she could take care of herself, he always couldn’t help but want to protect her constantly. “All I did was tell him to go away! He’s the one that hit me. He was messing with you, I thought it was okay.”

“It seemed like you were, it was easy to mistake when you’re just standing there.”

“Few times I’ve been around that track, so it’s not just gonna happen like that, ‘cause I ain’t no hollaback girl! I ain’t no hollaback girl! Few times I’ve been–” Kimiko erupted into a fit of giggles, interrupting herself as she looked at the person she didn’t realize was listening. “Come on, you’re just going to let me sing alone? I sound like the biggest dork right now.”

Once Ralph came across someone singing, a grin took over his face. He had to admit, he didn’t know the song, but he at least swayed his body to her singing. “You’re not a dork, I promise! I just have no clue what this song is, but I like it.”

“That’s literally so sweet!”, she admitted with a high-pitched squeal, “but she’s your best friend, this guy barely acknowledges my existence and– ugh, he doesn’t even remember me, but hey, I wanna hear everything about you and your girlfriend”.

“Come on, that’s no excuse!” Ralph smiled as he started shaking his head and waving his hands at her excuses. “You can get him to remember you. I’ll tell you about my girlfriend but only if you promise to try with this guy. Sound like a deal?”

“No because that will lead to a fight which can’t happen for two reasons. The first one being my girlfriend is a hell of a lot scarier than you. The second one being that it’s an unfair fight. I may not like you, but I’m not gonna take you on if you look like the wind could take you away.”

“I still find it fascinating,” Edith began randomly, lowering their phone to look at the person that had entered the room, “that technically, five rodent hairs are allowed in every pound of peanut butter in the market. How much rat fur do you think you’ve digested in your life?”

Ralph’s eyebrow instantly went up when they told him the fact. For a moment, he stopped to consider the weight of the other’s words. Then, he pressed a hand to his stomach, looking worried. “Oh wow...I didn’t think about that. I eat a ton of peanut butter. I’ve probably ate a whole rodent....”

“If you’re here to push me around, you’re a bit late”, he said staring blankly at the ground where ripped pages from his journal were laying.

“Hey Di-” Ralph’s sentence was interrupted by both his roommate and the pause when he saw all the papers lying on the ground. He stooped down and grabbed some of the pages. “Who did this? Who was it?”

Belle looks at the stranger, smiling despite her embarrassment. “I promise I pay more attention to where I’m going than this!” She clutches her book to her chest. “I just…This is one of my favorites and I just couldn’t wait to re-read it!”

Ralph was glad that he’d caught the other in time. Otherwise, she might have been a pancake by now. “No, I get it. I get that way with comic books, so I understand. I just didn’t think you’d want to get hurt.”
