I was on the cheer-leading team until I graduated from there. Then I made the bold move and went to Los Angeles, where my fiancée is rocking the fashion world. Sam: led her into the living room, smiling softly as he continues to talk about his mom "Well we are going to redo her house. Dad wants to turn in it to a home for abused women and children. He wants it to be like a safe haven for them as they are trying to get back on their feet. It was something that mom always wanted to do... and he wanted to finish that dream for her." he said softly, sitting on the couch. "My dad got a new home... He wanted something that him and Renee could call their own," he said softly. He knew that Marley was trying to make small talk, but honestly, he just wanted to ease the awkwardness. "Thank you for coming over. I just want to pretty much put everything out on the table."

Marley: smiled softly as he spoke and sat on the other side of the couch. "That's good." She said softly and placed her hands into her lap. "Thank you for inviting me over. Sounds good to me, do you want to go first or do you want me to go first?"

Sam: shut the door as soon as Marley stepped into the house, taking another deep breath before following her. "oh uh Thanks. I had it repainted and added the white chandler" he pointed out with a grin. "It was my moms... Dad was gonna get rid of it.. since he and I decided to redo her old house. So I took it.. and brought it here. It brightens the house more."

Marley: slipped her hands into her jacket's pockets and saw how Sam lit up when he talked about his mom. She nodded as she looked at the chandler. "What are you guys going to do with her old house? Or is that where your dad lives?"

Sam: tensed at the sound of the doorbell "Relax Sam... It's just Marley" he sighed to himself, as he got up from his seat. He walked into the greeting area, locking eyes with Annie who was running "It's okay Ann! I got it." he chuckled, which the young girl run upstairs to check on Allison. Sam wrapped his hand around the doorknob, taking a deep breath before opening the door. He smiled softly at the brown-eyed girl... "Hi!" he said softly. He wanted to reach out and give her a hug but he quickly thought against, he reminded himself that he was even lucky that she had agreed to come. "umm Come in"

Marley: gave him a small soft smile. "Hey," She said softly before she nodded and stepped inside, taking in the house she lived in. Something about it was different but she didnt know what it was. "I like what you did with the place."

Sam: was thankful that Marley had agreed to come over to see him. He had truly missed her and just wanted to get everything out on the table. He was still a little confused about his feelings toward her. Don't get him wrong, Sam has always loved and cared about Marley as a friend. But when she cut him out of her life it truly hurt him, and he couldn't help but think that his feelings for her were beyond friendship. But he didn't want to say anything until he knows for sure. The last thing he wants is to hurt Marley. So, for now, he will just focus on getting her back as his friend. He sat on the couch, reflecting on everything that had happened these last few months, and he realized that he has done a lot of stupid shit lately Sam couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Alyssa. Even though it been months since that has happened, he still can't help but feel bad. He knew she was still probably upset with him considering that haven't really spoken since then. He sighed nervously, shaking his thoughts out of his head, hoping that he doesn't say or do something stupid that would ruin his chances of getting Marley back.

Marley: pulled up to Sam's place, biting her lower lip and sighed as she gotten out of her car. She closed the door behind her, locked it and started to head to his front door, feeling her anxiety started to pool in the pit of her stomach. Once she arrived at the door, she knocked and waited for him to answer the door. She kept running his words through her mind when it came to him and Alyssa, something she didn't trust him fully on, but was going to listen to him about.

Sam: Why would Alyssa care if I talk to you?

Sam: Marley... Alyssa and I are-... Listen just come over and We'll talk about it.

Marley: Ok. When do you want to talk?

I’m not trying to pry or make you feel bad about how you reacted toward Sam and Alyssa. But he did go through a horrible loss. Maybe you should try to check in with him at least once.
