Raven
Lucilius.
The wizard was the start to all of this. Wanting more power he created the darkness. Though, there cannot be darkness without the light.
The prophets warned Venenarius Lucilius  the damage this could cause. The world as they would know it, would come to an end, killing everything innocent. Turning the world into a never ending hell.
Lucilius only saw more power. So he continued to create darkness. The smoke grew stronger and stronger through destruction and death. Eventually the darkness was to much for the wizard to handle. Realizing his mistake, there was a deal made with darkness to try and save the people from darkness. This deal gave them a chance to escape.
"I need a challenge Venenarius" Darkness growled at the wizard.
"You need to control yourself," Lucilius held his chin up at darkness, showing no fear.
"I need a place to be my own, explore the power within," the usual smokey voice of darkness took over.
"If your desire is to take over," The wizard smiled mischievously, "Then all you had to do was ask."
"You make no sense Lucilius" Darkness snarled.
"You see, Darkness, in order for you to gain control and maintain that control, you have to make a deal," The wizard explained "The reason for this deal, is if you fill this world with your darkness, the life in this world would cease and it would be over all to quickly."
"I'm listening" Darkness surrounded Lucilius.
"There will be one day out of everyday that you shall not do harm onto man and woman. This say will be The Holy Day. You fail to meet this day, everything you've ever done, all of your creations, you, will be destroyed." Lucilius spoke in tongues. "That would be the challenge you seek. You will gain more power and eventually you will have control over all the lands. Everything will be filled with darkness."
Darkness agreed to this deal and they called upon Cantatrix Celeste, an enchantress that controlled the most powerful deals known to man. As darkness and Lucilius made the deal, Celeste's enchantment enforced that if darkness  were to break the deal, everything about darkness will wither away. However, if Lucilius were to die, the deal will fade and darkness can destroy everything as if it were the same, except darkness will still be able to keep the control and power that was gained throughout the deal.
Making any deal with this Cantatrix meant that she could twist up the deal any way she please. Lucilius knew this and was willing to pay the price. Making this deal meant that he could create something that could put an end to darkness and restore the glory that the world once held.
Lucilius then learned that the world was unbalanced and the only way to defeat darkness was to create light. When Darkness took over Kingdom Tenebricus, the Wizard took the princess. He used her to create Light, the same way he created darkness.
Light's presence in the world alone weakened darkness. Lucilius loved both of his creations the same, but creating Light gave him more power that he no longer wanted. Since Light hasn't taken over, light was still weak.
For light to gain more strength, light must do so through tranquility and life. With darkness already having control over a third of the world, light struggled to gain more power. Lucilius gave light as much of his powers he could.
As light traveled to places untouched by the darkness, light found the Kingdom  Tranquillitas and learned that light doesn't need to touch just the people. Nature covered more of the world than the people.
Bringing the light and making peace with the creatures of the world, light grew stronger and powerful wherever the light had touched.

King
The Darkness grew angrier with each passing day. In the kingdom Darkness resides in, Kingdom Tenebricus, Darkness planned the attacks around the world. Darkness was already taking over the lands, the angrier darkness got the stronger darkness became, all in the efforts to take down the light.
In the search for this light, Darkness tore through villages. The people lost homes, families and lives. If Darkness found Light, there would be no hope for them.
Unbeknownst to Darkness, light had grown stronger, still new to this, light was not stronger than darkness. Like others, Light was hidden from darkness.
Light grew from spending life as a hidden source, to growing stronger and was no longer in hiding. Since the day darkness heard about this Light, word spread quickly between the townspeople. Kingdoms heard about the news and were no longer in fear that the darkness would take over their home.
Darkness feared that the Light was stronger, and this fear was a weakness that was hardly seen. A village called Velbwell - new to darkness - did not understand exactly how evil darkness was.Â
An elderly woman, who was blind and partly deaf, was greeted by darkness. The elderly in this village were treated with such respect, that their rule was to never harm them. To get the message across, Darkness approached the senescent woman.Â
“The energy you bring - it’s dark and monstrous” Her voice shook with fear.
“Because, I am darkness, my dear.” darkness’ voice was sickening to the woman.
“What do you want?” She straighten her back and was ready to find her way away from darkness.
“To introduce you to death,” Darkness surrounded her with dark smoke.Â
The villagers tried to get to the woman, fighting there way through endless smoke. Death arrived, a rotten smell mixed into the smoke. Death greeted the woman and soon Death was gone after collecting her soul.Â
“What have you done?!” A man cried out, holding the skeleton like body.Â
Darkness gave a wicked smile and took over the village. Destroying the light in the village. Unfortunately, this light was not the light that threatened Darkness.Â
Darkness moved onward, destroying everything in its path. Nothing will settle with Darkness until this Light is gone for good. Thinking of ways to make Light suffer, Lucilius came to mind.
“Venenarius Lucilius“ Darkness growled, stopping in its tracks when a small light shined bright.
“Do not seek this light, for the light will seek the darkness. Returning home, the light will make herself known.” The voice was in fact the wizard himself. “Seek not the light, but the woman who brings it.”
Darkness snarled and swung at the light. As the light disappeared and Darkness journeyed back to the Kingdom Tenebricus.
Where the light will meet the darkness.

Darkness
It had taken over the land. The kingdom lost their beloved King and Queen. Soon, they would lose the princess. She was young and weak. Defenseless against the darkness, she was hidden from the world.Â
Rumored to be dead, the darkness searched far and wide for her and found nothing. She was believed to be in fact dead.Â
The once bright kingdom, turned black and fell into almost empty place. The people who could afford to move, left. Others were forced to stay and live in such a gloomy place.Â
The sun was covered with dark clouds. The rain was continuously falling, ruining the once dry road, turning it into mud. Windows remained shut, the shutters blocked out the devilish things that took place outside.Â
The remaining people never dared to leave their homes unless it was Sunday. The one day a week where the darkness wasn’t allowed to do harm. The holy day. You see, when darkness took over, a deal was made. The Holy Day was the only day darkness can not touch man or woman.Â
If the darkness were to break the deal, everything about darkness would be destroyed.Â
A young woman, traveled into this monstrous place, singing beautifully. She showed light. The people tried to shush her but she kept singing away. Her golden hair blew in the wind as she marched her way through the town. Her clothes were untouched by the mud below her feet. She stayed dry, with the rain pouring down on her.
Darkness heard the angelic voice coming from the village. This angered the darkness. Within seconds, the streets filled with smoke. The windows slammed shut and the town fell silent. The only sound was the woman humming a new tune.
“You dare come to my land and sing that horrid song!?” Darkness growled at the woman.
“You mean the land you stole?” She stopped in her tracks and raised an eyebrow. She showed no fear to darkness.
“You dare mock me?” Darkness grew angrier by the second. The sound over her voice angered him.Â
“I came to give you a message from Lucilius” She held her head up high at the mention of the name. This caused darkness’ eyes to widen, in almost, fear?Â
“And what does this wizard want?” Darkness quickly turned back into growling at her.
Her eyes turned golden and started to glow. Her small body floated up into the air as her arms stood out to the sides. Her flowing golden hair stood straight up as she started to speak in a tone that was not hers.
“When darkness fell upon this land, they knew the needed a helping hand. The one who cannot be found, is the one who will put you to the ground. Her light shines brighter than the sun, her power stronger than this one.”Â
Her chest started to glow brighter and brighter, blinding darkness as the light got bright. Slowly the light faded away and she was gone. Leaving darkness to figure out the wizards silly riddle.
Who was this light?

The BeginningÂ
Chapter One
The Story of Nikki 1
Growing up in the Victorian house, Maryanne, Mary for short, raised Nichole around love. Once Mary’s grandmother had passed away, Mary turned their home into a antique shop. Her grandmother’s collections of Antiques were for decoration and she searched far and wide for more items. Nichole grew up loving the history behind many items. Every antique had a story and she loved it.
Nichole never knew of her adoption, and that was how it would stay. She asked about her father and Mary spoke nothing about him. Telling her that he wasn’t around. Clearly. Nichole knew at the age of five that her mother never wanted to talk about her father and she was okay with this. Respecting her mother’s privacy she let the topic be.
Mary learned quickly that raising Nichole would be a challenge. Seeing as this child grew up with special abilities that she didn’t understand. At the age of three Nichole’s bedroom lights would flicker whenever she cried in her bed. When she was six, a friend had watched Nichole for the evening and would not explain what had happened in her home, this particular friend had a son who was very scared of the little girl. When Nichole turned eleven, it was very clear as to who this little girl was when particular letter arrived in the mail.
Discovering that her daughter was a witch, Mary was curious as to who this girls real parents were. While Nichole was away at the famous Wizarding school known as Hogwarts, Mary did research but found nothing. There was no real background on her daughters real parents and this was something that would remain a mystery.
Whoever these people where, they clearly wanted no one to know who they were.
The Story of Nikki
Nichole Rose Austen wasn’t always the person everyone knew her as. To many people they took her as the typical girl that would be in every book. The girl who read a lot, loved to draw and she was into history.
The story starts off as a young woman, desperate to have a family of her own. The man she married had run off with a younger woman who could bring him a child. She wasn’t able to carry as most women could.Â
With the support from her grandma, she grew the courage to adopt. Living with her grandma in a beautiful Victorian home, she knew that whatever child she was blessed to take home would love. Walking into the foster family’s home, she met the beautiful ocean blue eyes of a three month old little girl.
“What’s her name?” She looked up at the foster mother.
“She hasn’t been given one.” She looked at the baby sadly “The mother died during birth, and the father couldn’t bare the thought of raising the child without the mother. I wanted to give her a name, but the parents who adopt her should. I call her angel. Her life would have been ruined if she stayed with that man.”
“Why is that?” She looked at the lady
“He was the cause of the mothers death. He abused her before and during the pregnancy.” A tear had formed in her eyes.
“It would be a parent.” She said firmly.
“Pardon?” The lady raised an eyebrow.
“It would be a parent. Me. A single mother. I would like to bring this baby home.” She confirmed.
“Really?” The lady smiled brightly as tears fell down her cheeks. “I don’t think I caught your name.”
