Instead of answering the brunette, Danielle matched his smirk with one of her own, reaching for the handle without question. ❛You’ve been holding out on me, Kai,❜ she remarked with a few ‘tsking’ clicks of her tongue, bringing the bottle of rum to her lips for a quick swig before wiping at the corners of her mouth with the pad of her thumb. ❛Don’t tell me you got bored of that extremely riveting game of truth or dare?❜ she queried, holding the bottle back out to them.

Kai smirked again, watching the blonde take the bottle in her grasp. A roll of the eyes matched the grin on their face as they took the bottle back. “It was boring as hell. They wish they’d done half the stuff I have, sweetie.” The bottle reached their lips once more as the rum coated their throat, leaving a warm feeling int heir stomach. “What about you, love? Cant stand all those goody goodies over there while you prance around practically fucking everything in your path with you best friend -- what was her name? -- Indie, right?” Kai mused, shooting a glance at the girl. “More power to ya, honestly,” they stated, raising the bottle in the air towards the setting sun.

Kai smirked and glanced over at the male, running a hand through their curls. “You bet your sweet little ass I am” he replied, winking at the other.

While the evening had been one of the nicest since their arrival in Hawaii, the sunkissed blonde had quickly grown bored of all the group festivities and lame truth or dares currently being passed around the bonfire. It was their last night in Oahu after all and with everyone heading back to the cruise ship tomorrow afternoon, she’d be damned if this was how she was going to let herself spend it. So with everyone else preoccupied with the game transpiring, she found herself sneaking away, her toes digging into the damp shoreline a distance away from her peers before the salty water came and caressed her ankles. ❛ Fuck, that’s cold, ❜ she said to herself, shivers running through her like a small jolt. Still, she didn’t relent, bending enough to dip her fingers through the ocean water and laughing as she accidentally sent it sailing towards a figure she hadn’t even seen approaching.

Kai was enjoying the waters edge after sneaking away from the other students sitting around the bonfire. Everyone was sharing lame truth or dares and they were having none of it. They’d brought a bottle of rum with them, sipping it as the brunette walked along the beach letting their feet touch the water. Suddenly, water was being splashed up onto their face.·“What the fuck???” They looked over and noticed the blonde ankle deep in the sea.·“Whatcha doing there, love?” they asked with a smirk, holding out the bottle in case the other wanted a bit.
