A nice day and a camera were all Emery really needed to get a few exterior shots for her latest film idea. Of course, she also needed actors, and a production assistant probably wouldn’t hurt, but she figured that, so long as she could get a few expository shots done, she could probably pay a few local high school kids to run around and get bloodied up for an indie horror flick. She ended her day of shooting at the park, sitting on a bench with her little handheld, panning slowly across the scattered kids and families. She could always edit them out later, after all. It wasn’t until a shadow fell over her that she jumped a little and looked up. “Oh-- hi! I’m not some creepy weirdo, I’m a filmmaker.”
