The Celestial Kingdom has fallen. Chaos ravages the realms as fading gods quarrel over skeletons; souls struggle to reincarnate as Death was in chains; and the only person who could save them had vanished. However, even at the end of the world, lives continue.

Thieves Zulz and Heka survive in exile, stealing from the rich and powerful. But when a failed heist against House Boltaen goes wrong, they are forced to fight for their lives.

After the fall of House Freedomae, the Masters of Fate, Zulkaernaen survives in exile. After her father, the king, was forced to abdicate, her brother sits on the throne as a puppet king, weaving a web of bloodshed and fear. Captured after the failed heist, Zulz was forced into a deadly bloodsport as war spreads across the realms while tiptoeing through lethal politics with Laecious Boltaen, the man who wanted her head. After running from her duties for so long, Zulz must face the corruption from within and find her missing brother, Ansel, who holds the key to restarting time itself - one that may either save the world or destroy it.

Daughter of the primordial goddess Hekatae, Heka was bound to the Tree of Souls. When Zulz was captured, Heka was forced to abandon her as chaos spread to the Netherworld, poisoning the souls of the dead. However, Nevertrek Prison Island, the only entrance left to the Netherworld, had been overrun, and the Netherworld gods had gone silent. Heka and her unlikely companions, Wincel and Phaeton, need to save the Tree of Souls before it is too late -- or else, the entire realm would collapse into absolute ruin.

Four hundred years subservient to Gwi-ma’s control yet in a moment where he could only hear her voice, Jinu sacrificed his soul for Rumi, aiding in the restoration of the Honmoon.

However, instead of the oblivion of death he expected, Jinu found himself knelt before the Tenth King of Hell, the Wheel-Turning King of the Rotating Worlds, Wang Zhuanlun.

Wang Zhuanlun charges Jinu with the task of defeating Gwi-ma:
