noelle listened to her head resident speak to the customer at the desk. it was nice to have the holidays off, but she would much rather spend it at the clinic than at her house, doing nothing. not having any family around when the holidays slowly came about, sucked. sure, she had friends, but she didn’t want to intrude on their plans. smiling politely at the lady as she watched her leave, before turning to beau. “you know i don’t mind helping you out for the holidays if you need someone.”
