i like that tiktok trend where it’s like ‘if x characters had instagram accounts’ so here’s my tokyo ghoul version w some random characters i chose (with explanations)
uta is professional af and he only uses instagram for business . so he just posts the masks… customers get a scare when they go to see him so he likes it that way
his followers are people who like his art, and he only follows his friends
touka doesn’t really get social media but yoriko convinced her to get instagram so she has it .
her followers are just her classmates who found her account (if they ask her she just says she doesn’t remember her username), and she only follows a few of them back (the ones who she actually likes)
yomo runs this page. that’s all
yoriko mostly posts her cooking and baking or touka . she isn’t really a selfie person unless there’s someone else in the picture
hide is a shitposter and half of his comments are ‘where is ur bf’ (kaneki) and he always goes ‘HES NOT MY BOYFRRIENDDDD UGGGHHHH’ and then he posts kaneki with a caption like ‘on a walk with bae 😘’ . kaneki has an instagram with like 1 post that hide took his phone to post
hide posts too much and everyone does complain and he begs kaneki to let him take his picture, then begs kaneki to take his picture in turn
juuzou thought he’d love instagram but now he doesn’t really gaf abt it that much . YES shinohara controls the account for public appearances okay? juuzou has a job to keep!

saiko has posted several times a day for years . and not just on instagram on twitter too probably reddit and tumblr as well . she is beloved in her fandoms but nobody gaf abt her on instagram
ms chie hori is rather particular about which pictures she posts, but she’s pretty popular for them anyway! i figure she probably has a spam where she just uploads everything from her camera roll
