Helen Frankenthaler
GATEWAY, #7 of 12, (1982-1986)
Framed within three screens are intaglio prints with etching, relief painting and hand stenciling, done on handcrafted paper. The unique hinged frames are sandblasted bronze, hand-patinated with a variety of chemicals and dyes. Frankenthaler spent three years creating the prints alone using 28 colors, and six years working on the frames.

Unearthed this cool fossil while tilling in some compost last week.
I think artists must never lose sight of the progressive aspect of our work which is justified only in this sense. It is necessary to keep in mind that progress is a given. At the moment in which society starts to think that progress is not important, that is when it falls apart.
