to say that spencer was born with a silver spoon in her mouth would be an understatement. she is the child of sebastian waldorf and fiona astoria waldorf. sebastian was the heir of his family’s chain the ‘Waldorf’s’ hotel and Fiona was the heir of her family’s chain the ‘Astoria’ hotels. the two fell madly in love over the timespan of them fighting over a property for a hotel in santorini. long story short the two ended up being married and that was the first conjoined chain of the ‘Waldorf Astoria’ hotels. it was like a modern day romeo and juliet. minus the deaths. this was the first of their conjoined chain with many to follow as a posh hotel in major cities, not to mention the hotels already existing around the world. her family traveled all the time growing up, and while for school she was mainly stationed in manhattan she often studied abroad and spent her summers all over the world. her family owns the top penthouse of their hotel in santorini (where she currently lives) and they spent every christmas there through her years of her growing up.
needing an escape from the city she practically moved to Santorini full time before her 20th birthday.
although spencer’s childhood seemed picture perfect, not everything was. there was many things that were never talked about, paid off to be hidden, and never shown to the public eye. a lot of problems spencer had people just tried to brush off with a “poor little rich girl” because money can solve everything, right??
when spencer was 17 something dark happened to her at a party. instead of bringing any light to the case her family was bought off as it was the son of a large company and they didn’t want to deal with press. either of the families. her parents obliged. when she tried to tell her friend she didn’t believe her because “he was such a nice guy, he would never do that” and “spencer you were so drunk, you probably just don’t remember” and this situation as a whole is where her trust issues stem from.

-spencer is a wildchild and a party girl. she’s been rebelling since she was a teen and her parents have paid to have many stories not make it to the press. she’s a good and fun time and she won’t let anybody stop her.
-although she can have a wall up and be mildly cynical when it comes to relationships she is also weirdly loving?? especially when drunk !! like she loves to be cuddled, or sit on your lap, or be piggybacked, or just rest her head on your shoulder. she also is probably hugging you and giving you kisses on the cheek !!
-is very outgoing and can also be very bubbly
-is SUPER impulsive and has often paid the consequences for her actions
-can find herself looking for love in the wrong places, whether it be a bad person or a drunk text at 3am
-she can be SO stubborn and sarcastic at times and like APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE????

-can be sassy at times but like it’s kinda cute ?????
-she is either not afraid to say what she’s feeling or she bottles it up deep down with past secrets and thoughts
