New Year Spell #6 - Money Flow

I'm back with the next spell in this New Year's series. This is all focused on bringing in abundant finances. It's a simple, beginner-friendly spell. I recommend going with the sachet method - it really does add an extra something to it.

What you'll need:

• Coin (in your currency)

• Bay leaf

• Money oil and/or attraction oil

• Choose 1-3 herbs you associate with a good cash flow!

• Sachet (not needed but optional!)

1) Gather what you will deem your lucky coin of the year and your bay leaf. Write out intentions on one side of the bay leaf. Whether you are trying to save up x amount of money, manifest more, or just have spending control, write it down. On the back side, I recommend a money sigil that resonates with you. Your own creation would be best, if you are comfortable with making sigils.

2) Anoint your coin with a money oil and/or attraction oil. You may wish to dress it in herbs associated with money as well, and I recommend doing so. Some may want to add their saliva to the coin as a taglock.

3) Place the coin and the bay leaf in your wallet. Carry them around with you all year! I advise putting them somewhere that the leaf will not get broken & the coin not accidentally spent/used/stolen. Take extra care to not lose it!

4) Optional Sachet: A good way to not only keep the spell safe but strengthen it would be to put all of this in a sachet bag with the herbs, a small piece of pyrite or natural citrine, a petition paper with the intentions, and a bay leaf with a sigil or two. It'll give an extra boost but make sure to feed it with more herbs on a weekly basis.

Some play of words that will send any harsh energy back to sender if your feeling energetically attacked or just uncomfortably drained. Repeat 3 times for extra power progressively make the words have more edge as you repeat.

Binding Spell

Consecrated blade

Cord, string, ribbon (black, red, white)

Parchment, or velum, or papyrus

(optional) a personal concern of the target (nails, hair, spit, blood, cigarette butt)

Write the name of the person to be bound 5x in a row.

Then turn the paper Widdershins (counter-clockwise) once

And write your own name over theirs blotting it out while chanting

I think it’s really neat that if you ascribe to an animistic worldview, the types and numbers of things you are capable of Invoking and Evoking for magical purposes increases a LOT

Call upon weather phenomena, your own house, the roads to be safe for your friend on a trip. For your old car to stay well just long enough for you to get to your next paycheck before you have to say goodbye. For the wind storm to spare the old tree by your house because you can’t afford repairs that winter

It really helps to cultivate a worldview of communal relationships and to treat the WORLD around you with kindness. Which naturally can lead to treating people with kindness in your life

And not every Evocation and Invocation has to be a big ceremonial affair. Sure if you’re aiming to chat up local weather or major natural forces, it wouldn’t hurt to be polite and set up a formal means of address with a proper ceremony. But your beloved family kitchen knives will happily work your spell into your food for some kitchen witchery if you have a good relationship with them. And your favorite, world-worn jacket will shield you from the winter chill much better with a little spell to inspire it.

Combining some aspects of Ceremonial Magic with an Animistic Worldview can open up whole broad pathways in a practice when combined, if that can align with the paradigms you favor

Clairaudience Development Tip

One of the best tips i learned when developing my clairaudience was listening to music. When listening to music, just pick out the guitar, the drums, the vocals, the fuckin triangle in the back, just pick a sound an isolate it, listening only to that for a while. Then switch to a different sound to isolate.

Sound isolation is a MASSIVE help when developing your clairaudience so you can learn to isolate the sound of your deities/entities speaking to you so you can better hear them.

It works so well, give it a try and see what you think.

additional keywords for your spells

i use these keywords to guide how i add layers/complexity to my workings! they may influence my sigils, the time when i do the working, the colors/herbs/crystals i use, etc! keep in mind that words may have diff meanings to diff people, so feel free to use this as inspiration for other words you prefer (or maybe even words in your native language)

for prosperity/money drawing workings

sustainable (as in sustainable source of income), stable (similar to prev.), desired (also similar to prev.), efficient/easy/quick, unexpected

for success/school/job workings

balance (as in work-life balance), consistent (as in consistent efforts/energy/opportunities), long-term (as in long-term success), wanted/desired (as in wanted/desired opportunities/means to succeed)

for protection workings

un/wanted (as in protection from unwanted things/passage for wanted things; like a conditional protection), harm/harmful (as in protection from harmful things, bc i personally don’t see all bad/negative things as harmful; ie sadness can be seen as negative but not always harmful depending on the situation!)

for cleansing workings

un/wanted (similar to above; cleanse unwanted things, leave those that are wanted), renew/refresh/rejuvenate, space (as in cleansing to make space for what you want to be surrounded by), clarity/understanding (cleansing so that you may ‘see better’; ie seeing your own strengths/weaknesses, seeing what helps and harms you, etc.)

natural (as in natural beauty), inner/outer (as in inner/outer beauty, a balance of both), effortless, glowing/shine, invisibility/camouflage/chameleon (for when you want to use glamour to lay low)

some spellcraft for an invisibility ring

the invisibility ring is a popular item in fantasy novels, tabletop rpgs, sacred object that you retrieve through a quest. having read a lot of those novels in the past, i drew from that concept, not obviously to make me actually invisible, rather to go by unnoticed, discreet, not to draw too much attention around. sometimes, you just want to be left alone yk

needed :

× a mirror

× rosemary

× water (can be charged if you want to)

× a black candle

× a good ol' blunt (can replace with incense if you don't smoke)

light your candle, and meditate for a few minutes. light your blunt, then place the ring on top of the mirror (it's better to use a small one). sprinkle some rosemary around, and if you are able to, visualise your body becoming more and more translucent, until you can see through it.

pour some water over the ring and the mirror as you say those words. give it a little time to charge with your intent, then hold the ring in your hand and blow the smoke of your blunt onto it to seal the ritual.

Even if you’re in the broomcloset now, just know you won’t be forever💜 I used to never set anything out, or just had little windowsill altars (if you could even call them that). Now this is what I’m running with.

It’s still not anything crazy, just a shoe shelf, actually, but I love it. Directly to the left is more storage space, along with a good selection of reference books I find myself reaching for most.

I know being in the broomcloset is hard. You’ll get your own space for your own magic, even if it’s just a little nook, tucked away💜
