˖°˖☆˖°˖ A'den never understood what Kal saw in him as a child to give him this name right away. But pray you never piss off his guy to figure out what his rage looks like.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ I mentioned in another post that in my worldbuilding there is a department within the Special Operations Brigade that does an occassional check up on the mental well being on the ARC Troopers (translation = making sure they are still loyal to the Republic), and I like the thought that A'den constantly messes up his own results just to prevent himself getting promotions, and keep himself a sergeant forever. His mission records? Flawless. But he plays for upkeeping the unpredictable behavior to keep himself where he exactly wants to be: on the field.
˖°˖☆˖°˖Him being only a sergeant is both respecting his father, but also a statement: I won't be a puppet in this army, and I won't fight against my brothers for ranks that doesn't mean shit.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ It takes a long time to realize for his brothers that A'den is not lazy. He just doesn't give a shit. Ordo both hates and adores this in him.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ Sometimes I throw depression at him to deal with to explain why he doesn't care about competing. He literally doesn't have energy.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ He loves nature. He loves the feeling of dirt under his feet. He loves smell of the trees, the grass, the flora. He loves the concept of decay. He loves that everything is connected to everything.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ In Kyrimorut, he prefers to work at the farm and with animals and he has his own flower garden. He prefers their company anyway, they don't tire him out with bullshit. Cooking outside is favored more, and he likes fishing. Preferably alone. AND WITHOUT GRENADES.(judgmental look toward his brothers). He and Levet are responsible for all the agricultural upgrades around the farm.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ A'den can't sleep in bed. He prefers tenting outside, or just sleeping under the stars as it is, or using a hammock. But he can't stand the solid bed. He doesn't know if this is a trait he inherited from Kal'buir or because any firm bed reminds him of his time on Kamino.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ A'den not being competitive for Kal'buir's attention doesn't mean he doesn't love Kal'buir. He LOVES his father very much, he just doesn't want his obsession to break their family bonds they have, the family bond he especially started to appreciate more whenever he was sent away on missions. He loves working in the field, but he always misses his family very much.
˖°˖☆˖°˖ Every Null do their own test of loyalty toward Kal, and A'den is no exception: not being ambitious and a walking anxiety bomb over achievements. And because of this, A'den already walked a great distance toward personal healing from his traumas. When Kal says he won't get rid of them, A'den actually believes him.
