Why was everyone just standing around, talking about their same old day when there was pure electricity in the air? Couldn’t they feel the buzzing that seemed to engulf every single sense that Kenzie had; why the hell were they just standing around? One minute the brunette was talking to some street vendor and the next minute the wind was rushing through her perfectly straight hair towards the sensation, towards the smell that was unmistakable to creatures such as herself. It wasn’t until her doe like eyes were actually upon the sense that Kenzie slightly realized she might have just invited herself into someone’s frenzy that they surely didn’t want anyone else to see but those concerns instantly faded as eyes locked onto the sight that reminded her of one of her paintings; something straight out of nightmares — or dreams, depending on the person. “Its — …” a soft spoken single word as delicate feet began to move her legs through the massacre, one that she herself had committed when her hunger spiked, or her and Remi had nothing else to do but not quite on this scale, not with such — urgency. This was chaos, pure and utter chaos for nothing more than need and despite the daunting figure that stood in the middle of it all, the tiny vampire couldn’t take her eyes of off the beauty of it all. “Beautiful.” she finally managed to speak another word as she now knelt down beside a body who’s eyes still reflected the horror they had witnessed before their final moments.
It truly was a testament to how messed up Cassius was right now, his entire body tensing as words echoed through his ears, causing for the Original to panic. In seconds he was beside the young girl’s side, fingers easily clasping around her thin neck as he began to strangle, his fingernails digging into the skin of her neck as he held her body up above his own. But he faltered. A reflection had caught his eye and completely stopped him in his tracks, a necklace around her neck that took him back in time, a certain time and a certain person. “Remedy...” Words were a whisper as his gaze now moved from his sisters necklace to her face, a face that had the Original gasping and quickly throwing the girls body a few feet away from him. Still, he didn’t move. Silence filled the air as the Original’s cloudy mind did it’s best to put the pieces of this strange puzzle together, his confusion easily showing on his face as he did nothing but stare at her, stare at the face in which would give his sister so much grief... Maybe she did have to go. “How are you---” a pause, Cassius licking his lips as he now began to take steps towards her, the twigs on the ground cracking under the pressure of every movement he made. “Who are you?” He snarled, fangs baring as he began to stalk, his mind racing a thousand times per second. Manic was setting in, the Original now honestly believing his mind had been taken from him in those last ten years, how else could he explain seeing his sisters daughter? Thinking the worst, Cassius now began to play his games--- hiding himself from her, lightly tapping her shoulder, grabbing her wrist to spin her around and put her into a daze; anything to get the answers he would need from her.
