I have a Buddha in every room.
I like to be reminded of that chill and unflappable peace the Buddha personifies.
I'd love some Lao Tzu icons but the Buddha is much easier to source it seems.
The principles of wu-wei, non attachment, mindfulness,
impermanence... Hindu's 8 Limbs of Yoga...That's my bus.
..
I liked this purple scrapbook jacket I salvaged, and wanted to use it somehow though it was quite old and soiled by use. I think the scene suits it: the radical acceptance of what is and of our imperfections and limitations.
I don't have any experience painting real things.. It turns out I don't really have control of the paint yet. But I'm keen to explore this medium more ... getting figurative with paint, acrylic so far but oils soon. I guess I'll settle into a style eventually, find my thing. or I hope to- but for now I'm enjoying myself and sharing the journey.
Hopefully someone will appreciate it. yeyeleye Peace out
