Ahh, the best shelf. If you are still collecting Kaiji, then I wish you good luck!! I don't know about your prices, but it's extremely difficult to get this advantage both financially and for delivery (⇀‸↼‶)

Ive been collecting since 2018, I generally only get new stuff nowadays there is a new release ... older merch i havent collected is generally because I dont like it LOL.

Also some of the more expensive merch (The RAHs and the Staff book and the figma) I would wait for them to go up on sale on mandarake. Mercari and Ebay are generally overpriced. I got the Japanese volumes from a local 2nd hand bookstore LOL

Though they were some of my earlier pieces I got when they generally went for a lot cheaper. The RAHs are insanely expensive now if they even show up on second hand markets at all.

A lot of it is patience and getting good deals but yeah at this point in time everything is crazy expensive. It wouldve been way harder if I started this year 🫠

Wow, I didn't know you could reply to reblogs... No wonder you noticed that it would be harder to start collecting this year, because now I suffer from it myself. Kaiji became interested, one might say, 4 months ago, as well as in other works by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. At the moment, I only have a nendroid, and since April 11, I have been waiting for the Kaiji stick figure, which cost me 106$, to be delivered to me. Shipping costs me more than the figurine itself, shipping from Japan to Russia is so difficult, I can imagine how stressed I will be when June 7 (or July?) there will be a figure with a Kaiji in an armchair, especially with the fact that I currently have no income. And how I'll shake when I order manga... When I look at other people's shelves, I am happy for those who were able to survive all these difficulties, and I hold my fists for novice collectors. I'm sorry if you don't understand me somewhere, I don't know English well ಥ_ಥ

Today was the worst photo shoot with Kaiji. I fell face down on the asphalt twice + I broke the stand from the figurine. My sloppy hands :(

I found someone who will sell me coasters for 5$, at least somehow corrects the situation
