I asked kaiji's end: The Ace of Spades, The Emperor, and The Fool. But I didn't specify if I was asking about the character or the anime LOL. Since he is the main character it doesn't matter at all right

Interpretation: Kaiji, He is a leader, always has been one but sometimes he lets people decide his fate and control his life. Manipulating him, telling him what to do, betraying him etc... This is something that may have a completion. The first two cards make me think he is going to have more authority about his life and the way he thinks. He may find himself fully connected with this side of him and end up as someone more complete, balanced with his masculinity. OMG maybe we will see kaiji as a grown adult in his 30s??? also suggests maturity, but...It's difficult to say that he is going to change about his impulsivity because of the last card for Which embodies his creative and innovative spirit of someone who has nothing to lose and is willing to bet everything on a journey.... In short, it looks like we're going to see Kaiji older and more responsible, but still a gambler in every sense. Still a hero... Still a dog... Still living!!!

i'll never forgive a certain genre of person for fostering this common conception that dostoeyvsky's works are all these horribly depressing, hard to read novels because that man's writing is funny as hell and reads like a long distance friend telling you about a local drama on facetime at 2am

I always find myself laughing while reading some of the scenes. He writes embarrassing moments like no one else.

Kaiji is just such audhd pain because he's genuinely so intelligent, creative and unorthodox in his thinking when he has the motivation to push himself but then he's just unable to apply that same thing when it comes to work/school/life and that's just the story of everyone with audhd I fear. He's not stupid, he really isnt. And he's a little lazy but he's mainly depressed and burnt out. He feels always on the sidelines and judged because he can't perform the way society expects, can't socialise with a fake smile. He deeply craves a feeling of connection and belonging but hates inauthenticity and manipulative behavior. He feels adrift and clings onto simple things like drinking, gambling, idly passing the time, because what else do you do? He's seriously traumatised from everything but his experiences are complicated because they include both the times he felt at his lowest and the times he felt at his best. He lives in extremes, and it's slowly poisoning him from the inside out. He desperately needs help. He's too ashamed to ask for it. He's only 21 (and then 23/4) years old, and he's been let down by society so severely it takes my breath away. He's so young, and shoulders the weight of so much. He deserves so much. Kaiji Itou my neurodivergent darling I'm sorry you deserved so much better
