reincarnation au: muse a and muse b were destined to be together. even as centuries pass, in each generation, muse a and muse b will always meet and fall in love. sometimes it’s love at first sight. sometimes it’s through time. sometimes they don’t get along right away — but it is inevitable. however, muse a retains their memories from past reincarnations and knows for a fact that something always happens. no matter what they do, muse b always dies in some tragedy or something keeps them apart. so muse a has to make do with the limited time they have together until they are parted once more and wait until they meet again.
