I think the hardest thing about making an oc in crk is coming up with a name that has not been used in any of the games, or using the same name as another fans oc AND having a similar premiss for the character.
I was trying to come up with a fan child of Black Sapphire and Mercurial knight and thought Black Opal sounded like a good name looked it up annnnnnd... Not only have I found two oc with the same name, one was a daughter to Black Sapphire. So that name is scraped.
Anyways I was thinking of a name Silver Fern, but I am open to suggestions.

Titled WIP: Lost in the Moment
"Are you leaving?" Silverbell had asked Mercurial Knight.
A large banquet played out in front of them. The noise of the choir singing, faeries talking, and dining together. A major social gathering with every Faerie in the kingdom.
The two silver tree knights stood on the outskirts of the party, but the noise of joy and celebration was still loud.
"There is work needing to be done," Mercurial Knight responded. He noticed the dimming of the other faerie's wings, even if Silverbell tried to hide his disappointment. "It'll only be for a short period."
"You should still take a break, this celebration is because of the new found peace in Beast-Yeast," Silverbell said, trying to convince the other. "Enjoy the celebration while it lasts." He gave a soft smile.
Silverbell was a gentle faerie, often being undermined as a knight, but as much as Mercurial Knight knew he was skilled and had high faith in the other, he was still young. He trusted other's a little to easily, his emotions swayed more than they should in his work line.
"The Kingdom still needs to be protected, patrols are a necessity for the kingdom's safety," Mercurial Knight said. He noticed the other looking a little more defeated, maybe his tone was harsher than necessary, but he had other things to do.
"Okay, well take care," Silverbell said, a small smile on his face.
Mercurial Knight gave a firm nod with a quiet 'hm' before heading off.
The sounds of the party slowly fading out as he headed to the boarder entrance of the kingdom. A magic barrier, that kept the kingdom hidden from outsiders. It hardly needed guarding as the forest surrounding the Faerie Kingdom was shrouded in dangerous fauna and wildlife, a place the average cookie would never venture.
Though it was likely unnecessary Mercurial Knight needed to do something. Social gatherings were never in his interests. To many emotions to decipher at once, let alone his own. Such was part of the price when accepting the silver blessing.
Being re-birthed with a purpose of servitude to his oath, his old life long forgotten, those memories lost in the through the waves of mercury. What reflected back in those metallic swirls was a solider made of metal. Someone to stand unshakable, and determined.
Trading his flavour and scent for mercury may seem like a fate worse than death for some individuals. It was something Mercurial Knight noticed about others. There were some individuals who took masses amount of pride in how they presented themselves. Something he could never understand.
He took a deep breath. The crisp air of the night air filling his lungs, settling his thoughts. The forest was quiet but if one became in tuned with their surroundings they could hear and feel the critters of the night moving around.
His wings of liquid mercury glistened in the pale moonlight poking through the the over head of trees.
Not like he come across anything, but he needed to stay active. Something to entertain his mind.
Being the commander of the Silver Tree Knights sounds like a job that comes with a lot of responsibility and work, leaving the individual constantly busy. But Mercurial Knight finds himself mostly bored, or pent up might be the better descriptor.
The Faerie Kingdom stayed mostly hidden from the outside world, Faeries rarely, if ever, leave the kingdom's boarders. They didn't have visitors come to their kingdom often either. Only the Salt of Solidarity had come across the kingdom, but now he lay within the silver tree as the anchor to the now slumbering beasts.
Mercurial Knight didn't have much to do, his high ranking position had him ordering others to do things. Sometimes he do personal tasks from the Guardian, Elder Faerie, but even then it wasn't major tasks. He needed to do something, stretch his muscles, something to keep his senses sharp. Practise some skills, and training.
The tranquility of the forest at night was soothing to his soul. Not having other's come up and try to converse with him, it was nice.
Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.

As for my MetallicSapphire fics. The series name has changed to: The Sweet Scent of Sapphires. Which will be a three part series. I'm planning the first two parts to be singular chapter and the last part being multi-chapter. I am nearly finished with the first part. (More information on will be given in a separate post)
For the knight x prince au, I've done art for it, might not write a fic (Debating) but hopefully I'll get to drawing them more often.
I am willing to take requests or suggestions for fic ideas, especially for MetallicSapphire as there are only 5 fics for them on ao3, and most are discontinued multi-oneshots with multiple other ships (the pain of liking rarepairs T-T)
