So, after a bit of a delay on my end; all my DB muses have been relocated to my multimuse blog over here, if you’re still interested and all that jazz

Just, be aware, I have muses for things other than just DB on there as well.

“Capo! You disappeared from the face of the Earth! What happened!?”

Well, lack of muse, school, and the fact that I’m going to be graduation from college real damn soon and need to start getting into Full Adult Mode soon.

However, I have moved most of my Dragon Ball muses to a singular, multifandom and multimuse blog which can be found here if anyone is still interested; since I’ve been in a writing mood once more.

It is I, Capo, with news of this blog (and my other rp blogs’) fate. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna toss this boy and my other boys out.

I’m gonna be moving them to a multimuse blog so I can, well, just keep all my OCs in one place. This includes non-dragon ball muses (such as Soulsborne, yugioh, and so on).

Once I get that blog set up, I’ll be sure to link it here.

This conversation was getting more frustrating by the minute.

“Look, fine, I get all that.” Understood, perhaps, but it was a far cry from accepting it.

Roh hesitated a moment, unsure about admitting to the problems Universe 9 had to someone who possibly didn’t even know about them. Maybe as far as this god of fate was concerned, there was little difference between this universe and his home universe. He had no interest in challenging that perception if so.

“…but… listen, there’s got to be something that isn’t working out. Some issues and problems, sure, but when everything as a whole comes to a bad end, something isn’t right.” Eyes narrowed again. “Unless that’s exactly what our god chose, in which case, I have a serious bone to pick with them.”

That their god was apparently quite young was something else to be addressed when he’d settled on his feelings regarding that particular fact.

“I suppose it is time, then, that I inform you of why I was brought here.”

The Fourth was, perhaps if only little, surprised by that line of reasoning - and indication given only slightly with brows risen. From the Kai’s position, that reasoning made sense. Especially since the Fourth had not been told by this universe’s God of Fate of what their end goal was.

Equality. Strength. Love. Those were some of the other Gods’ goals, but for the one of this universe? There had been nothing but silence. It was concerning for all of the Gods of Fate, well, the ones that cared about other universes.

“Your god is certainly aware of these problems, and does want to fix them. They’re just not sure how. I am here to help them in that task, and thus, help you.”

He decided that telling Roh about their god’s lack of plans would not help the situation at all.

“After all, they also take offense to the insults that had been thrown at your universe. What has this place been called? A garbage dump?”

The Universal Balancing System (UBS for short), is referring to how the universe carries out the commands given to it by a God of Fate and how it connects the “selected events” (the major events in a universe’s existence that shape its entire history and everything as a whole, as selected by a God of Fate) together.

It’s called a “Balancing System” because of how it makes everything that has happened have a purpose, balancing all the cause and event cases that happen.

It’s basically the command script (I guess, idk computers) of the universe?

This was not Roh’s first time hearing about a god of fate, but it was his first time actually dealing with the details. That there was something in this universe out of even his hands did not sit well with him at all, and it likely showed in both his expression and his mannerisms during this entire interaction.

“…maybe not all of them,” by which he of course meant he absolutely wanted all of them fixed, “but it wouldn’t hurt to work out some of the kinks in this universe,” he muttered. 

“Maybe things would go smoother if they didn’t insist on being a hermit in the first place.”

“Hm, it is true that it would do them better to get out of their palace more often; then they might have a chance to explain themselves and understand what it is the mortals want.”

To be suddenly far more aware that even though one’s position is high, that there is someone even higher than you must have been quite a shock. One that would not have sat well with anyone in power. It was only a natural response.

“But, since they are not here to explain the details; I shall.

Your god has selected points A and B, and it is the universe that is connecting these points in whatever manner it deems fit. In this lull between selected events, it is not Fate causing this roughness, but the universe simply carrying out Fate’s orders.”

There is a pause, as if he was done for just a moment before speaking once more.

“Ah, but no matter what events and end goals a God of Fate might select, there shall always be issues and problems; one cannot get rid of every issue - especially since your god is so young.”

I’m not saying most of the day I was picturing what Universe 9′s God of Fate is like and like...

I keep picturing just a smoll child who is trying their best, but is overtly reliant on the Universal Balancing System and kind of never gets out of the Palace.

I’m not gonna make a blog for them, but I felt like sharing this.

On the subject of other gods of fate, not all universes are on their fourth iteration. Some universes burn out faster or slower than others, though paired universes have the same burn-out speeds.

Or at least that was the initial thought, before I thought “wait, don’t all the Kais and Gods of Destruction know each other?”

I suppose that, if my headcanon was the case, some gods just got recycled earlier or later than others.

Could you imagine if Universe 10 was on its sixth iteration while Universe 7 was on its fourth?

“Wha– wait-!” Was his immediate reaction, but it was quickly set to the side when his brain decided to helpfully supply some logic. “I-I mean– wait– our god of fate should already know what’s wrong with this universe! You can tell them whatever you want; they’ll know you’re lying.”

Ah, so that was what he wanted. Still, this could be his own downfall.

“So, you want what you consider the mistakes of this universe corrected, hm?”

It was a simple conclusion, but one that couldn’t help but make him smirk, knowing what the other fate deity would say if told this news.

“Oh Roh, at this rate, you’re going to break that poor hermit’s heart.”

“Alright, than I’ll be certain to tell this universe’s god of fate that you don’t need anything at all and that everything is just fine in this universe.”
