He could get out of hand in a fight, and he wanted to make sure his sparring partner could handle his rough style of fighting.

     "Squall." The name fell so easily from his lips as the little mage turned up and he raised his staff to the other already his power rose deep inside him as he gazed at the other male and bowed his head gently.  "I can handle it, if you can handle me."      Blessed by the crystals and the finest mage where he was from, he was ready to pull out all the stops as a summoner could. "I'm ready if you are."

     "Not all children are a 'pain' as you say, sir."     As little more than a child himself, the mage took mild offense to this comment, as was his right. He couldn't understand such a view. Some children were horrible, some were kind and gentle like he himself was.

    As far as this mage was concerned, the festival seemed to be going rather well, it made him smile actually. To see so many having fun and learning each other's magic.     There was just so much knowledge scattered everywhere! Maybe even he could learn a few new spells from an unknown world.

I've never made one of these before so omg bear with me here. I haven't been Roleplaying Sora for very long on Tumblr, but I really really enjoy it and a ton of you have just made my experience all the more better!! I really thank you and I hope to be doing a good job portraying Sora how I see him and interacting with all you great people!

The expression on her face made it very clear what she was thinking. Stout, little Arc… dressed up as a summoner, no doubt, but what was that thing on his head? He looked positively ridiculous! She’d never seen a summoner wear a big spike on their head before, especially not when they were going to be seen in public.

"Do I have to wear one of those?” She asked, fingers pressing to her lips to further stifle girlish laughter.

        A squeak to leave the mage as he flushed and took it off. "N-no..." H-hey don't make fun of me! That's not nice, Rydia!" he complained, but lips inched towards a smile of his own. "Be nice..." he whined playfully at her.

       "But ahm ahm. I guess it is... kinda stupid looking." he admitted, laughing some himself. "Never really thought about it, back home."

An entire festival based upon the magics of worlds he’d never heard of? Held in a quiet, woodland hovel where many had come to display their skills. Some called themselves conjurers, others arcaninsts or thaumaturges. Red, Black, White, Blue mages from all over the world and summoners who seemed less common. He stood quietly, noting the distinct lack of materia-users… though perhaps that was for the best, for they truly were just borrowed powers.

"Only so much can go wrong here."

    The festival had Arc feeling at home, at ease. There were so many mages and he loved it. A smile as he walked up next to the man with the silve hair, taking off his headpiece it really was silly looking after all. "Yeah but even if things go wrong, there's power from all worlds here and that means we can let loose!" he laughed, spinning on his heel now.      "Keep an open mind, yeah? This is about the celebration of all magic!"

Azure eyes went wide at the very sight of the legendary drake descending down from the skies. A summoner? As far as he knew, Summoners were few and far between… Rydia would be overjoyed to learn that others lived.

"I could not leave someone unassisted." Cecil commented, sheathing his blade as he approached the redhead’s side, ”It takes great skill to summon Bahamut. Are you a summoner by blood?”

       "No. I'm not." he returned, a smile playing about his features, "Though I'll admit asking Bahamut to aid me was perhaps over-kill." he mused, shaking his head. "I'm a mage form the tiny village of Ur." he explained.         "I was just... rather lucky I guess. I like reading and I like magic and... H-helping others." Oh dear that stutter was back, how annoying. "Summoner is just my job... U-usually I prefer the route of Devout."

    Quickly he turned, seeing an enemy he raised his hands, summoning "Bahamur!" he cried out, summoning the king of all dragons, flying straight up, the mighty dragon opened his jaws and shot pure energy down on foes, leveling the area around them as he smiled and held up a hand as the dragon disappeared once more.                       "Thank you, stranger. I wasn't paying attention."
