✿ Devin's never really been the person who completely lets loose at a party. He's never really been the type of person to be outgoing around people he doesn't know. He's never really been that person who goes into public and acts silly, not caring about what other people will think of him. ✿
✿ He's not the type of person who will dance like no one is watching. He's not the type of person who sing like nobody's listening. And he's not the type of person to laugh like nobody's business. ✿
✿ Instead, he's the person who sits in the corner during a house party, watching everyone else laugh and talk, wishing it was him. He's the type of person who is shy, he's an introvert and not an extrovert. He's the person who would rather stay in his room all day than go out shopping with friends. And when he does go out, he's reserved and kept to himself. ✿
✿ He's the person who stutters and fumbles over words when speaking to a stranger. He's the person who is rarely seen laughing, or even speaking in public. ✿
✿ It's not that he grew up in a troubled home, it's not that he suffered from a lack of male or female figure. It's not any of that at all. ✿
✿ He's just always been shy. Had troubles when he was younger with people poking fun at him, and people still do from time to time. But he would just rather keep to himself and shove his nose in a book, or a painting, than go out and party with friends. ✿
✿ And just because he doesn't make a lot of friends, doesn't mean that he doesn't have them. Because he does. And the friends he does have treasure him. He's a great listener, and will do whatever he can to cheer you up. Just take some time and let him get comfortable with you first. ✿
