Lure can miss in Xenoblade. I just never noticed this, and it’s likely this can occur in all versions of the game considering how most of the code was carried over to DE.

I’ve uploaded some scans of individual pages in the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Works art book. Of course, big warning for spoilers, theres art of stuff all the way up to the final boss. Not much for Future Connected though.

Its not all in one PDF right now because I haven’t had time/energy to scan every page. What I did scan is stuff that is new or was really pretty (imo). For now, I also skipped over the concept art of Kino and Nene. I got very tired.
No video proof yet, but in DE, fiora uses magstorm voice lines when dazing enemies. I thought I was imagining it.
Vanea and Riki share the same Japanese voice actor, Yuki Kaeda.
And here’s an additional comment from the English fan translation of The Secret Files
Just processing these facts about Yaldabaoth from The Secret Files fan translation.
- Yaldabaoth has “Homs organs”, not just blood.
- More about symbolism in Yaldabaoth’s design
Transcription under readmore.
For people who haven’t seen yet, a fan translation of the Xenoblade The Secret Files has been made now, after 10 years of it only being in Japanese (and French, I believe?)

I promise this blog won’t devolve into comparison screenshots, especially with me being completely absent and exhausted for months. But it’s absolutely pertinent that I point out that Shulk does not eat the sandwich in Definitive Edition.
The model appears to be updated to make it seem like a bite has been taken out of it, yet he is still only pretending to eat the sandwich.
Not original content, I just wanted to share an interesting video I found.
At 2:45, Paradigm & Erico list some fun facts, so that’s worth checking out, if you just want the gist.
Egil’s boss fight in Agniratha contains a dubbing error specific to the English version. In all battles against Egil, a filter is used to make it sound like he’s in Yaldabaoth. This filter is still used even when he fights outside of his mechon.
This issue isn’t in the Japanese version. In the Japanese version, Egil’s voice does not have a filter during the boss fight in Agniratha.
(Egil battle quotes in English)
(Egil battle quotes in Japanese, no filter is used after 1:08)
The Mechonis’s right arm has been redesigned in the defenitive edition to resemble Fallen Arm. Left is DE, right is original.
(Source Completely took this from Luxin)
Can I just say. My only reaction to this entire news is “Wow, I can’t wait to take screenshots of egil in hd and 100% this game a third time!”

the enemy glitched out and walked through a wall and got stuck :(
Where is it.
In the unique comments for the sidequest “The Master’s Successor”,Riki refers to Dobadoba as "Dobaba".
