As I sit here gazing at this city of lakes, time flows on, and I wait.
I wait for you, the one hiding in shadows of yourself, how are you and how have you been? How has time treated you after all that you have seen?
I sit here and I wait like a beggar. As hundreds pass me by, taking a piece or a bit from my box of offerings. Some just amazed, some are shocked, they take all these stories as mine, which at the end should all be yours.
My box will get empty soon, and while some can see through this mask i wear, and ask, what is it that I am actually waiting for?
I look at their eyes, and dare tell them not, that it's you, you, all that I wait for. You, who will come like you always do. And time will stop for us, the rains, the winds, and the sun too. You with your radiant glow and beaming eyes, will come down from your chariot of unicorns and maybe give this beggar a blessing or two in disguise. Give him back all his worth and esteem, show him what it is to live again.
As I sit here and let everything pass me by, both with sadness and glory, I wait for only the sound of you and your chariot, maybe you will someday come to see to this madman who is living so unfortunately and save him from his pity, as he waits by his words, for you to tell him, he is all right. He is allright now, for this world and its beings. You, the only one, at the end, what is the moon to the sun, and also who measures the lengths of this beggar's weary dreams.
