Hi! I can't remember if I've posted about it already, but a while back I thought about a way to show preference (or lack thereof) in pronoun sets for people with multiple pronouns.
So. I (and many of my friends, acquaintances, and members of the LIOMOQAI communities) who are multipronominal have an issue. When I use multiple sets of pronouns, I struggle to find a way to show that I do not have a preference, because it is often assumed that sets are listed in order of preference. Others struggle to show that they prefer certain sets over others, because not everyone makes that assumption.
I thought of a way to circumvent this; instead of writing he/she/they (which is ambiguous in terms of preference), one could use the > symbol to indicate they prefer a set over another one and the = symbol to show they like two sets equally. This works with any pronoun sets, and more than two sets!
she=they (one likes she/her and they/them pronouns equally)
he>she (one prefers he/him over she/her)
he>she=they (one prefers he/him over she/her and they/them, but likes she/her and they/them equally)
he=she>they (one likes he/him and she/her pronouns equally, and prefers he/she over they/them)
he=she>they>ey (one likes he/him and she/her equally, but prefers he/she over they/them, which is preferred over ey/em.
