Happy Birthday Louis the Red Deer!  

I was never really Happy with this picture, so I figured Louis’ birthday would be the perfect opportunity to make a few changes to it, and clean it up a little!  Nothing major, but some of these fixes were super necessary!  Like how in the original photo the cast shadow from the car didn’t match the direction of the light source.  Yeah, I goofed up pretty hard on that one...

After a long night of Beastar work, Yafya and Gosha rent out a private room in a local Onsen.   Gosha has noticed that Yafya's gotten a tad bit more touchy over the past few weeks, probably just due to the anxiety of the job.  It can't mean anything more than that...

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the character of Melon. I still don’t have a really consistent voice for him in my head right now, but I decided I was going to give it a shot. This is from the manga chapter 140, so careful, this will have spoilers for the manga and season 3+ of the anime. Just me trying to get a feel of how Melon sounds to me.

Warm weather:

Y: "rex's sake Gosha, I'm melting into the couch!  Can we just take your grandson over to my place to watch him, I have an indoor pool!"

G: "you know Leano doesn't want Legosi over there Yaf!"

Y: "come on, you know how paranoid Leano gets!"

G: "Yafya, you keep a fully loaded m4 rifle next to your kitchen counter, how else is she supposed to feel about it!"

Y: "Fair point... "

Cold weather:

G: "Y-yafya...      ...c-can you turn the th-thermostat up a bit more?"

Y: "That's as high as it goes.  I think something's wrong with the furnace."

G: "o-okay.  Do you have any other w-weapons laying around your apartment other than the gun?"

Y: "ummmm...   ...a feeew"

G: "y'know what, Leano'll forgive me.  Go put Legosi in his carseat, we're going on a t-t-trip!"

Beastars x Inital D =  Initial Deer!

After his father moved his business's headquarters to a new town in the Kanto region, Louis decides to get into the local racing scene.  Armed with his Mazda rx-7, Louis took to mountains, running the passes with ease.  However, when a mysterious local racer shoots past him pulling off daring drifts with frighteningly accurate lines in nothing but a beat up old '86, Louis feels the need to investigate.  So far none of the guys in the scene have heard of this driver who appears out of nowhere like some kind of a ghost.  Although, there are rumors of an old Trueno 86 parked outside of a nearby tofu shop run by a friendly yet reclusive old komodo dragon...

This time it’s a quick little one-shot based on someone else’s AU. I’ve been reading The Truth About Love by @seventhfracture and it’s such an adorable and fun little Lougosi AU, I had to do a little side story. Legosi is struggling with writer’s block for the album they’re trying to record, and Louis wants to be supportive. Ibuki and Melon decide to take their new protégés out for a little relaxing karaoke night, and Free is just a disaster.
