The corners of his lips turned up in a small grin as he nodded, his eyes squinting as he threw his head back in a proper laugh. “I dunno,” he teased, “you could be lyin’ to me right now. I’ve got no evidence that you’re not always covered in something or another.” He held out his hand with a smile, “It’s nice to meet you properly. You medics are always in and out so quickly I haven’t even had a chance to introduce myself. Name’s Sean.”
He turned to look at his groceries. Not all of it was ruined but a good portion of his produce had raced its way across the parking lot and he swore that he could see the remains of what was to be his steak dinner clinging to the wheel of a recently parked Tahoe. He chuckled and bent to pick up his bag, dusting the canvas bag and carefully inspecting what was left inside, a few boxes of rice and a pack of gum.
“S’alright, really,” He shrugged, “I think instant karma got you as good as any.” he gestured meekly toward her nose with a breathy laugh. “But I do now need to do a bit more shopping, if you wouldn’t mind the company?”
