Partner Visa (May 12,2018)
Sorry for the absence, we have just been enjoying Lauren being in Australia this past year. Though this is a big milestone so I decided to write about it. So we just did it. We just applied for the partner visa. Paid and submitted the application. Now to go about getting the things done that we don't have, like federal police checks, health exam and xrays for Lauren and FBI check. Getting all the extra forms filled out and submitted. Though she is on a bridging visa until they decide to grant either A the permanent residence visa to her or B the Temporary permanent residence visa. I truly hope we get approved. There should be no reason not to. Though it's still a bit more to do. Need to get passport photo of both of us and other odds and ends. I will be taking note of all things asked for. So if any of you have any questions about the Australian Permanent Residency by Partner Visa; we might be able to help. To submit the application it cost us $7068.38 Aud which was I believe $5230 roughly Usd. That was just to submit the application. Now to find out cost of health checks, x-rays, police checks and more. I will keep track in our journey and let you all know from start to finish so if anyone has any questions about the pricing.
We are taking giant strides to close the distance, now once everything is filled out, submitted and done; it will be up to the Australian Government if our relationship ship is valid enough for her to stay. That is the only thing that sucks with all these partner visas no matter the country. The fate of closing the gap, resides in the hands of a stranger, who bases your relationship off evidence given. It's up to them if the reason you have given is enough or not.
Until next time stay happy and stay loved.
Xoxo,
Phelicia
