A follow-up to last nights episode
I want to take a minute to thank those who watched last night episode of From the Desk of a Small Press Publisher. It's not easy doing a podcast, especially on where you are talking about items that can get you cancelled.
As promised, I am sharing what I was talking about last night as far as the production side of things. Please note that this is a work in progress. Since Popeye is officially in the public domain, I thought about doing a set of stories using the characters from his series. Also since its in the public domain, it gives me more means to redesign some to the characters. I'm planning to probably releasing it as a part of Legends of the Giantess Slayer since the lead character fits more into this theme. The working title is called "Goonie Adventures of Alice". As I stated in last night, I was working on sample graphics for the series and create 2 single panel samples. I do ask to forgive any grammatical errors in them since the samples are scene from the top of my head with filter. And yes, this series will be more adult as it is developed. Also, these samples are not the final designs for Alice, Olive, and Whimpy.
I'm hoping posting this would give me a gauge on if people would like to see what I developed using this franchise.
