Her shift at the pet shop was almost over for the day, she just had to take one of the newer puppies that had arrived the other day for a walk. to tire the fella out for a while so heâd stop barking inside the shop. She figured a short walk down town a bit would be alright. walking for a few minutes, she stopped for a second to get a drink from a near by vending machine, right as she was about to grab her drink she both felt the leash feel lighter and heard something fall on the ground. Uh-oh⌠looking to her right, she saw the puppy running down the street. "waaah donât run! be a good puppy and come back here!" she cried out a bit while chasing after the puppy.
As large as the park she preferred living in was, it wasn't exactly the most popular spot - it was smalle than some, and out of the way. Just large enough to ide in and be pretty, and get a few vistors. To find Mnemosyne she'd have to leave that place and so every day or close to it, Lethe left the park to see if she could sense her sister.
It was a fool's journey, almost certainly - but what was a big sister to do, but look out for the younger?
She crossed a street and began walking up the sidewalk when she heard it - a barking animal, small and furry with dark splatches of color running through a mostly cream coat. She stepped aside to avoid it - only to have someone else crash into her.
"Ngn," she grunted as she hit the ground, "What -?"
