The girl removed herself, and the train stopped at the mercifully close station. She moved just enough to give him room to adjust, and the law student did so. It was not his normal stop, no; that was a few stops past. Quite a few.
And then he recognized her. The girl. Wasn’t she the one from the park selling crayon drawings? Charming little things, with a promise of passion behind them.
The doors opened, and he made a quick inspection of his pockets for his wallet before ducking out. It would not do to go on a date without it.
