a playful smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he chuckled, shaking his head—ezra hadn’t expected those words. "your brother?" he repeated, amusement in his eyes. "i don’t think any antonio lives here… wait." he paused, trying to piece together why the name rang a bell. "is he dating a girl named shauni or vivian?" he asked, eyebrows raised, hoping his memory would jog a bit more.
"Yeah he is dating Shauni" Irena said with a nod" Have you lived here long?" She then wondered curiously.She didn't mean to be a snob, but she kind of was, living in a commune like that, it just felt so weird to her, she couldn't understand why shauni or anyone wanted to do that.
berta hugged her sister tightly, savoring the moment. she always loved these little get-togethers with her siblings, even though it was a bit sad antonio couldn’t make it this time. still, she knew she and irena would have a great time. “i’m good! already got the popcorn going, and everything’s ready to go,” she grinned, stepping aside to let irena in. “you can drop your stuff in my room if you want. that way, we’ll have more space to spread out with all the snacks.”
" God I'm so ready to just sit on the couch and do nothing," Irena said with a smile as she put her stuff away in Berta's room and walked over to the couch." And how is Abel? anything new from him recently?" Irena wondered, knowing mentioning Abel always was a good way to keep a conversation going with Berta.
berta was in the kitchen, popping some popcorn so everything would be set when irena arrived. she’d called her sister earlier that afternoon, needing some company before her mind went into overdrive. she hadn’t told irena how anxious she was feeling about not hearing from abel in three days; right now, she just wanted to shut off those nagging thoughts and enjoy her sister’s company. when she heard the knock, berta quickly went to open the door. “oh hey!” she grinned, pulling irena into a hug. “ready for some spooky movies?”
Irina had had a very tiresom day at work and was so relieved to be able to just hang out with her sister and chill. It was a 100% tgif moment. She walked in the door once Berta let her in and gave her a tight hug" hello beautiful, how are you?" she asked before sniffing the air"Ooo popcorn, I'm starving"
her words made ezra smile. he wasn't expecting that. "well, i think i've seen him" ezra nodded, an amused smile on his lips. "were you looking for him for an specific reason or? it's just a coincidence you managed to find him here?" he asked teasingly.
"Oh no of course I found you for a reason, I am a professional stalker and all" Irena said and wiggled her eyebrows" No I'm actually looking for my brother, Antonio" She then ecplained.
