“I’ll take another one of these.” Ashley said, finishing off the drink and shaking the empty glass so the ice clinked together.  When Janel came back, Ashley took the drink and slid over, making room for Janel to sit down.  “Cheers” she laughed as they clinked glasses.  “Right?  Vegas is always the best time.  I think I’ve been drunk practically the entire time.”

Janel handed Ashley her drink, taking a sip after cheersing. She took a seat beside her friend, basking in the sunshine. “Same. It’s been a lot of drinks and a lot of slots. I’m just enjoying that I’m gonna go back to New York with my summer tan starting. I haven’t been to Vegas in at least a year.. it was time for a come back.”

Exactly, that’s my moto usually, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I think tonight since it is the last night I’ll be going out with a bang and doing something insane haha. My weekends has been good for the most part, I’ve been relaxing and hanging out with my girlfriend plus looking around at everything that is here, I also got to check out Zak Baggin’s Haunted Museum, which that was amazing. 

I was about to ask what you ended up doing. That sounds so dope!

Ashley smiled as Janel came up behind her.  “Baby, you made it.” she laughed, leaning back into her friend.  “You kidding?  I love a good pool day.  I’ve been here for a few hours already.”  She held up her drink and smiled.  “Hell yeah.  I’m already on drink three.  Or maybe it’s drink four.  I’m not really counting.” the blonde laughed.

“I did, hi” she girl excited responded, head rested on Ashley’s shoulder. She tightened her hold on Ashley’s waist upon the blonde leaning back into her. “Looks like I’m gonna have to catch up then, aren’t I?” Janel slid up from being seated with her friend, standing and setting her belongings on the chair beside Ashley. “I’m gonna go grab drinks? You want anything else?” she asked, before wandering to retrieve said drink order only to arrive back just as quickly. She had sort of just invited herself to join in on Ashley’s pool time, but she assumed company never hurt. Especially that of best friends. “Cheers!” she held her cup out to Ashley. Janel lay beside her friend, sipping on her own drink. “Ugh, not gonna lie, I’m just so fucking excited to be out in the world. And..” she held up her drink. She’d been cooped up in New York for the last week or so, and Vegas was the perfect opportunity to let loose. “How’s it been going in the life of my Benzo since I was at your place?”

Nikolaj was deep in thought when he looked out the window. He hadn’t even heard the door slam closed when Janel came in. It was when he heard a voice he was brought out of his thoughts. He looked around and noticed her. “Hi.” He said and smiled at her. “You must be Janel.” He walked over and held out his hand. “I’m Nikolaj.”

“That would be me!” the actress rocked on her heels as she nodded. Glancing around the room, she could tell her hand’t been there long enough to settle in yet either. “Did you just get here?”

What do you look for in a guy?  I might know some handsome, worthy, men of your time.  

Is it bad I don’t really know how to answer that? I don’t tend to be one to go out looking. I kind of just have always been the type to let friendships develop into more. Someone who’s got a good head on their shoulders, who knows how not to be serious all the time. He’s gotta understand what comes with my line of work, and just be a good human being. Somebody who can deal with me, that’s kind of all I ask for.

Pool Time | Ashley + Open

After arriving in Vegas, Ashley checked into the hotel and got unpacked.  She got changed into her bathing suit, grabbed her phone, purse, and sunglasses, and made her way to the pool.  She managed to secure a cabana for the entire weekend so she didn’t have to worry about finding a place lay.  She got herself settled, and ordered a drink as she laid back, enjoying the warmth of the sun.  After a few minutes of laying with her eyes closed, she felt the chill of a shadow come over her.  “Excuse me.  You’re blocking my sun.” she said as she sat up and opened her eyes.  “Oh hi!” she laughed, recognizing the person in front of her.  “How are you?” [ @hfrpstarters​ ]

Janel had decided to head down to the pool as early as possible. It was a weekend to enjoy life to the fullest, for her that included time in the sun. She grabbed her essentials, heading down to lay out and tan for the afternoon. Spotting her best friend in one of the cabanas, the actress decided to hop over. A bikini clad Janel stood over Ashley, waiting for her to realize someone was there. She couldn’t help but laugh at the younger girl’s immediate reaction. “Just me!” Janel slid in behind Ashley after she sat up, wrapping her arms around her friend and placing a kiss on the blonde’s shoulder. “Didn’t expect to find you down here. How long have you been out here already?” she asked curiously, “got drinks already?”

I’m so glad to be in Vegas, I haven’t been here in forever since I’m mostly in Florida, but I’m ready to get some stuff done here and of course maybe get a couple drinks and probably gamble, I don’t know. How’s you’re time in Vegas been so far? I mean we all just got here so I don’t know if anyone’s done anything crazy just yet. I mean, you don’t even have to tell me if you’ve done something insane just yet because you know what they say whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

every time i walk by a slot machine i hear, ‘oh my god, oh my god.’ and i don’t if it’s because they lost or because they’re waiting to see if they won. i’ve played a slot machine before, once. i actually won it and i stopped playing because i didn’t want to lose, so i just took what i had and ran. has anybody hit the jackpot on a slot machine? @hfrpstarters​

Could be either, honestly. Not going to lie though, if you see me, I’m probably winning. Not to brag. I haven’t hit the jackpot but I think I’m up to almost $900 in total winnings.

I’ve missed Vegas, it has been a while since the last time I was here. I almost forgot all the cool and fun stuff there is to do around here! What are everyone’s plans for our time in Vegas? Nikolaj arrived to the room. Getting there, he realized he was the first one there. He wasn’t going to choose his bed yet. He would wait until his roommate got there and then he would let her choose what one she wanted. He took his phone from his pocket and checked his messages before putting it away and heading over to the window. He looked out. It was a great view. He couldn’t wait to take in the area soon.

Janel knew the weekend in Vegas would be one to party, as it was her first major outing since her divorce was finalized. With that in mind, she had slept throughout the flight from New York to Vegas. It was evident, as she pushed her room door open, scaring herself when letting it slam behind her. “Hello?” she called out, unsure if her roommate had arrived before her. That was until she saw the figure of a man, looking out the window. She approached him, bags still on her arms. “Hi!”

I was in the same boat until mid April last year.  You know when you are ready and in no way would I rush it on anyone.  Maybe I was rushed but in the end I am the happiest I have been in a long time with H, L, and Aaron in my life.  

I’m real happy for you! It works out for some, not for others. I’m not in a rush to be a mom. I just wanna find the right person. But right now, fun. Single J needs a little fun.

You know that movie Groundhog Day? I feel like that’s the life we’re all suddenly living in where it’s the same thing over and over again. You’re right, might as well! Just sit back and let the chaos of life ensue.

If you focus on the negative, you won’t enjoy it. So the bright side? It’s pretty much bikini season! Which means, tans and the water and all the fun.

Even without that stuff all you ladies on the show looked great. I was the one that needed all the extra work.  I mean if you would like it to be it can, if not friend date is cool.  It dont matter now the past year has been crap and I’d like to leave it in the past. 

Oh shut up. It can be whatever kind of date you want it to be. But I should mention, I’m not looking to get into anything serious. I just got out of serious. Past in the past, I can do that.
