Hanna laughed as she slid into the seat across from him, shaking her head. "Wow, buying me lunch? Either you're feeling generous or you're about to ask me for a really big favor." She grinned as she reached for the menu. "But I'm not going to argue with free food." She shrugged at his question. "Honestly? Just trying to survive the usual chaos. Work's been keeping me busy, and it feels like there's always some new drama floating around. Nothing too exciting on my end though. What about you? What's been keeping you out of trouble?"

"Hey, long time no see." Dean smiles at his friends as he spots them on teh street. "How are you doing?" @ggstarterblog

Hanna smiled as soon as she spotted Dean, giving him a quick wave before closing the distance between them. "Dean, hey! It has been a while." She laughed softly. "I've been good, just keeping busy and trying not to let life get too crazy. What about you? What's new since the last time we ran into each other?"

"Damn, you act like I'm walking chaos or something." He teased as he sat down beside her and he sighed. "Everyone thinks i'm still in love with my ex, which is crazy because I do what I can to stay away from her, from all of them. Sure, every now and again, I'll run into one of them, but for the most part, I do stay away, so why are people insistenting that there's still something there? She's moved on and so have I."

Hanna tilted her head slightly. "Because people are bored and your love life is apparently community entertainment." She shrugged. "If she's moved on and you've moved on, then that's all that really matters. People are going to believe whatever version of the story they like best."

She glanced over at him. "Though if you're this annoyed about it, I'm guessing someone said something recently?"

"i'm very sorry to bother you, hanna." sofia apologized and looked at her. "i just...can i vent to you? please? i need someone who won't judge me, but will also tell me the truth if i need to hear it. i'm not close enough to sarah, or really, anyone from kildare, to vent and bitch to."

Hanna's expression softened almost immediately. She set her phone aside and gave Sofia her full attention.

"Hey, you never have to apologize for that," she said gently. "And if you came looking for someone who'll tell you the truth, you've already made a questionable choice because I usually start by taking my friend's side."

A small smile tugged at her lips before she nudged Sofia's shoulder. "Seriously though, you can vent. Say whatever you need to say. I won't judge you, and if I think you're being an idiot, I'll tell you that too. So what's going on?"

Hanna had every intention of spending her afternoon quietly. A coffee in one hand, her phone in the other, she settled onto a bench and enjoyed the rare moment of peace. That lasted all of five minutes before a familiar voice managed to pull her attention away.

Looking up, she let out a small laugh and shook her head. "You know, I was having a perfectly normal day until you showed up. Should I be worried?" she asked, scooting over to make room beside her. "What's going on?" @ggstarterblog

"So Gossip Girl, whoever, or whatever, she is, wrote about me, and I'm supposed to be worried? That makes no damn sense to me." @ggstarterblog

“They posted about all kind of things about everyone” He answered “About hockey games, who hooked up with who and so on. But never on this level as Gossip Girl”

"It was fun when my sister posted rumors about people and so on back home, but... " John paused, shook his head "This Gossip Girl seems to be on another level. What's her deal? Does she want to destroy people's life because she thinks it's fun or what? I don't get it"

Hanna let out a quiet laugh, shaking her head. “She really just said that straight up? That’s… bold. I don’t know if I should respect the honesty or be concerned for you.” She glanced at him with a small, teasing smile. “At least you can laugh about it now. But wow, your standards for a normal date just got a lot lower.”

"A drink this early in the morning is nothing new for me." Chuck said with a shrug and walked with her to the nearby bar. "I'm not actually going to talk, Hanna. I know why I did it and that's what matters."

Hanna let out a short laugh as she followed him inside, sliding onto a barstool and crossing her legs. “Of course you’re not,” she said, waving the bartender over. “That would require emotional transparency, and we can’t have Manhattan fainting before noon.” She turned toward him, her expression sharpening just slightly. “You don’t have to give me the full confession, Chuck. But if you think knowing why is enough, you’re underestimating the fallout. The city doesn’t care about your reasons. The people who love you do.”

"Yeah, that was pretty much half the meeting." Annabelle shook her head. "I don't know yet, I want people to have fun, but I also want to be able to let the fans scream and cry and just release any negative energy that they might be holding on to."

Hanna nodded, clearly picturing it. “That actually sounds kind of perfect,” she said. “Fun on the surface, but cathartic underneath. Like giving people permission to feel everything without having to explain it.” She smiled at Annabelle, more animated now. “You could build the whole experience around that,” Hanna added. “Start light, let it build, then hit them with something raw. Do you already have songs that lean more emotional, or would this be a new direction for you?”
