"Really? Because I’m pretty sure I heard you snoring for a moment there."
"The librarian asked me to wake you up."
"I wasn't sleeping, I was just... resting."
"I'm sorry. Was I bothering anyone?"
"-- What? I'm awake, I'm awake."
"Is everyone in this entire school a complete imbecile?”
"N-not everyone... probably."
[ He’s training himself— or rather attempting— to act casually in a crowded space. His eyes follow as people swarm the halls. Letting out a breath, he presses his hand against a column… That was not nearly as stable as he expected it to be. The vase atop it quickly begins to teeter, and its tossed into the air, then brushing off of his fingertips several times, a vicious cycle of slips and fumbling repeating itself before the vase is in his hands. He sighs in relief. ]
Eirwen hovers closely to her locker, careful to stand out of the way of the bustling body of students that move behind her. It's in between periods and she's come to swap out her books, lest she have to lug them around for any longer than necessary with her rather pathetic, almost non-existent muscles. Her head turns at the sound of fumbling to her left, just in time to see a student all but juggle a vase in order to keep hold of it, something he succeeds in. A small, sympathetic smile stretches across Eirwen's lips, because she knows what that's like and it isn't at all fun. "Nice recovery," she says softly, kindly.

"Care to take a trip to Neverland?"
"What's Neverland?"

It would be much appreciated if you actually got out of my way.
"Sorry!" Eirwen fumbles for her things, trying to move out of the path she wasn't aware she was blocking.
“You wouldn’t have happened to see a blue bookbag around have you? It’s very important that I find it.”
"There might have been one in the library, I think. I'm not sure.."
Have you tried shutting up? I hear it does wonders for your health.
"... Okay."
Ivory fingers freeze around the test tube, jade hues narrow “—Are you sure?” An soft sort of ice is falling from her tone, she knows science down to her core. The right mixture of chemicals was coded into her DNA and she’s caught off-guard and slightly annoyed that someone is correcting her, green irises flicking up to meet Eirwen’s visage.
She hears it -- feels the ice in her voice, that little sharp peak, and Eirwen shrinks away immediately, back from her redhead partner and the test tubes. "Never mind," she mumbles quickly but quietly, eyes downcast to her shoes as she stands awkwardly, her weight shifting to her other foot. Please don't be wrong, Eirwen thinks instead, hoping her partner is indeed correct and she is the one mistaken, because Eirwen doesn't want to see the effect of two wrongly combined chemicals.
"Oh, shit, okay—sorry. Um… What’s the right one then?"
"Oh, um, I think we need Selenium."

“Alright, alright, I’m stopping! But are you sure? I thought I read the instructions rather thoroughly.”
"I, erm, well... Is it sodium hydride?"
