i remember when i went to a justin bieber concert and the wanted was opening for them but the dj introduced them as the “biggest british boy band” and everyone started freaking out and chanting one direction but the wanted came out and the chanting sort of faded and it got so awkward i went to the bathroom

One Direction shine at exclusive event for seriously ill fans

One Direction made the wishes of 53 seriously ill children come true at SSE Arena, Wembley ahead of their performance at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (5th June). The band has been ambassadors for Rays of Sunshine Childrens Charity since 2012 and regularly give up their time to help grants wishes for seriously ill children in the UK. One D answered questions from some of their bravest fans before posing for pictures. The children, aged between 5 and17, travelled across the country to meet their idols.Amongst the audience was Bethany Lewis from Co. Durham who is living with a Congenital Heart Disease. In response to her question: “I like your songs can I sing one with you?” The boys invited her to perform a rendition of “What makes you beautiful”. Another child asked what careers the band would have chosen if they hadn’t been pop stars, to which Liam Payne replied a fireman and Harry Styles admitted he would probably still be a baker!The event was sponsored by Domino’s who adopted Rays of Sunshine as their chosen corporate charity in April 2013.
