(Kado was preparing a big dinner, expecting a guest soon. Lucien had agreed to come over for the night, and he wanted everything to go well. He cooked two main dishes; chicken and white bean chili, and a beef and broccoli stir-fry.)

(Both meals were packed with iron-rich ingredients, and they were meals he found delicious. For dessert, he made sweet potato pie, and had several ingredients for putting fruit parfaits together.)

(He was finishing the chili, when he received a call from his receptionist that Lucien had arrived. Excited, he turned the stove off and rushed down to the lobby of Eclipsed Estate to greet his guest.)

(Lucien had arrived a bit early, but nonetheless he was dressed up a bit nicer. He had also brought pajamas to sleep in but that was for later.)

(He patiently waited in the lobby, fidgeting with his jacket as he stood there; once he noticed Kado practically rushing down the stairs a big smile flashed across his face.)

Ah, there you are! I was wondering when you were gonna come steal me away. (He teased.)

(Kado smiled and hugged him for a few moments, then walked over to the bed, sitting down and stretching his arms.)

I've got a heated blanket on here right now. You know I love warmth, and it makes me so much cozier when I'm sleeping. It has separate controllers for each half of the bed, so you can adjust your side however you want.

(Lucien trailed after Kado and sat down beside him, he wasn't entirely sure how to feel; there were so many emotions in his mind. Was it normal to feel something this strongly towards a friend?). Well I guess we'll only need one controller, because I'm gonna be clung to you like a koala to a tree during a rainstorm. (Lucien joked as he messed with the cat paws on his onesie.)

I,, Kado.. can I ask you something? (Lucien muttered, his voice rather quiet compared to how normally loud he is.)
