How light should under eye concealer be? Whats a great drugstore makeup contour product to use and a high end?!
one or two shades lighter! i dont really use drugstore products but ive used covergirl or maybelline and they were good! high end MAC prep + prime highlighter if you dont do a full face everyday. NARS concealer is a little thicker, like, it’s more creamy, and they have a lot more selection. I personally just use a MAC foundation, since it’s the same price as the highlighter lol

Victoria's Secret
Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation Price: $43 USD Purchased At: Sephora Overall: 3.5/5 Pros: Lightweight, but still good coverage, Includes pump, Amount of shades, The experience of getting matched at Sephora Cons: Extremely Drying, Maximum Medium coverage, Price So I've been using MAC face products probably since I was 16 or 17 because it was one of the only brands that didn't break out my sensitive skin and I couldn't finally find a shade that was pretty close to my skin tone. I also love that they did a lot of giving back to charities and different organizations, which is really important to me in a brand that I invest a lot of money in. I had recently kept having terrible experiences any time I went into MAC so I decided to change foundations since I knew a lot of people at Sephora. I read all of the views, listened to the hype on the foundation forever, and decided to get matched, despite some claiming to be drying First Impression: At first I loved it. I was very used to the full coverage from the MAC foundation, but the lightweight, no makeup feel on my face was really nice. It's definitely a light to medium coverage. It's buildable, but you still won't get a heavy, full coverage. It comes with a pump, THANK GOD. And the shades are a lot more neutral compared to MACs which tend to be almost too warm, sometimes. After Awhile: It dried the hell out of my skin, if we're being completely honest. I've never really had dry skin, except on my nose, but even that got worse. I started using moisturizers, primers, toners, nothing made it better. My face looked absolutely terrible. I'm really sad about this, I really wanted to love this product, especially since the color matched so well compared to any other foundation I've used. But, I'll definitely try to use this again in the summer.

What exactly is the sigma pro program?
there’s 4 different pro programs. creative professionals (actors, models, photographers, stylists, etc) get 20% off work related items. cosmetology, esthetics, and makeup artistry (program must be 80+ hours) students receive 20% off. working makeup artists get 30%. and VIP Pro get 35% but you have to be invited to join. you can apply here. basically we get first looks at a lot of their products and get a lot of really great deals on them. they have blogs, an insta, and a twitter set up too for inspiration and tips/reviews from other pro members.there’s also a regular student discount program if you’re not in the industry. i think it’s 15% off you can apply here
I joined the Sigma PRO Program almost a year and a half ago and finally got around to actually using it. I got the f41 Fan Brush for highlighting the cheekbones and then the f35 Tapered Highlighter which I plan to use when I'm baking my highlight. First impression, I'm in love. The quality of the brushes is absolutely incredible, the handles and ferrules are extremely nice and sturdy. I will definitely eventually replace all my brushes with Sigma brushes.
What are some great eye palettes out right now youd reccomend buying?
in store, probably the self made Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. their eyeshadows are amazing and extremely pigmented. if you want something more like "wearable" or everyday then either of the Naked Basics are awesome. They're all about $27online, I'm really in love with the Morphe palettes. I got the 35k one a couple weeks ago and use it everyday. it's not extremely pigmented, but there's literally never any fall out. even with the black. which is huge to me lol and they're only $20 for a bunch of colors.
First time doing an undercut! I used a two guard in the low parietal and went down to a one guard on the sides and faded in the back. I left the top alone because he was wanting to grow it out.
a color correction on this beautiful lady! she wanted a blended, neutral ombré, I used 6N and 10 vol clear developer and feathered down to make it a softer transition. I toned with 1 oz 6BV ½ oz 9V and ½ oz 9NB to get of the gold and extremely brassy tones she had in the blonde.
