@xochitlandboston
for ur anon: i would also agree with NU over BU based on general campus feel, i'm from AZ and couldn't visit campuses but having seen them both up here i'm so glad i'm at NU and not BU. our COS is a p good dept but i'm in math, not physics, so ymmv!
@ anon!!!
Hi, I love your blog! If it's ok, I thought I'd might be able to help that anon that's having trouble choosing between Northeastern and BU. I'm also from California and went through the same struggle. I go to BU now, but I'm happy to help if it's still needed!
@anon earlier!
Hey, I've read that you had to decide between Boston U and Northeastern U, and I'm currently in the same boat. I'm really nervous bc I don't have the time to fly and see the campuses (I live in California). How did you decide to go to NEU over BU? Also I was accepted to the college of science, how is the program for physics majors there? Thank you for your help <3
I actually didn’t even apply to BU after visiting both campuses. Everyone has their own tastes, but personally I hated BU’s campus and tour! And I just really fell in love with NEU. I just knew I liked it! Unfortunately, I am really not familiar with the CoS!!

Hi I'm going to apply for Northeastern university (my dream school) and I wanted to ask if their financial aid was good and if they offered merit aid.
I think Northeastern meets 100% of student’s financial needs. I got really good financial aid that made it super doable!
hey! im a senior rn and i got into NEU early action. i saw in a different post that you said northeastern isnt like most 4 year schools and i was wondering if you could explain what you meant by that! (northeastern is one of my top schools + i got a scholarship so i think i'll end up there but im not sure)
Hi congrats!! Well it’s definitely not like most 4 year schools because most people do the 5 year track. Most students do a coop (but usually two or three) during their time here so they’re not in classes for 6 months at a time. So that’s definitely different than normal schools! It’s a great experience and I really think most schools should do coop! Good luck!
