“I’m sorry that you have to go through this, babe, you can still do whatever you want, you can sign up again if you want.”

Kendall reached over picking up Lavender “I hope not, she’s already my world.”

“Well she’s going to have the best daddy ever.” the woman said

“Because of your mom?” She asked

Kendall nodded “I don’t want my daughter turning out to hate me.”

“Like what?” He asked.

“I could see you working with kids, being a nurse, something to help people.”

“That’s good.” She smiled. “I couldn’t imagine having to watch Jo leave for months on end.”

“I’m just scared that I’m gonna mess up this child or something.”

“You’re not being insensitive baby.” He kissed her. “What can you see me as?”

Kendall smiled as she kissed him back “I don’t know, baby, you’re good at so many things.”

“Even if he does I’m here for you always.”

Kendall looked at Madi “I just found out that he’s not deploying and I am so happy about it.”

“I’ll just have to work on base. Give me enough time to find a new career.”

Kendall sighed “I’m a new mom, my boyfriend could be leaving.”

“Wait, seriously?” she said as she looked at him “Holy shit.” she said as the tears ran down her cheeks
