"Are you certain?" He hesitantly began putting away his wallet before taking the spoon in hand, preparing to take a bite. "Thank you, it’s very kind." Taking a bite, he smiled as the warm fudge overpowered the chilliness of the ice cream beneath. "Very good."
"It’s a knick-knack shop of sorts," he tried to explain, taking another small bite as he contemplated how else to describe it. "A treasure trove of things once lost and now found, in a way. Any and everything is likely to be found there."
Anna wouldn't have traded anything to see the look on his face after trying the ice cream and not having to pay for it. "Positive." She leaned against the counter and rested her chin in her hand. "I'm happy you like it."
Thinking on his words of how he explained the shop, she nodded in understanding. "Kind of like the saying, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Oh! Not to say that there is trash in the shop just.... Ummm." Anna wondered if the thoughts of being cooped up in a castle for a long time had something to do with her inability to not be awkward, and she blushed once more. Good going Anna. Replace your kindness with rudeness.
