I think some people on this app are too invested in Joe's personal life. None of us like her, but we would never go to the extreme with things like some people do. It's really not that hard to ignore her like the majority of us already do. In the end we're all here to love and support Joe as a person and as an athlete.

doing this over a celebrity you love but doesn’t know you exist? over a celebrity you hate and also doesn’t know you exist? that is parasocial on an unhealthy level. and just because they are famous doesn’t mean they aren’t real people with real feelings.

you don’t have to like her…but that doesn’t justify doing something as dehumanizing as this. block her, unfollow her, block the tag….there are so many actions you can take that allow you to not like her and do that only. because no. one. deserves this. no past actions, current ones, and feelings towards a person make it okay. and to do it to “embarrass him more” or “make him leave her”…you’re literally 1.) embarrassing yourself by doing something so degrading and 2.) you’re hurting him too. and if you really supported him or were a fan then you would just want him to be happy; not put out shit that does the compote opposite of that.

a silly little whatever this is doesn’t mean you can just start doing things like this that are anything but silly and little. think for one second before you repost/share. take a break. log off. delete the app. and get a hobby or something that doesn’t involve putting out negativity.
