can i just say the friends i've made on here are so unbelievably creative. like I'll be scrolling, and someone drops 2/3k words of something that took them days, and they just… post it. for free. on tumblr dot com. no paywall, no nothing, just here you go i made this for you.

it blows my mind literally every single day. the amount of talent floating around this corner of the internet for the low low price of zero dollars is insane and i don't think we say it enough.

anyway. you're all so good at this. i'm so lucky to be in here with you 🥹

piggybacking off this while i’m in my feels…..

the quality of stuff that i read on here is truly book worthy. i would absolutely pay if that meant being able to keep read works from and support my favs on here. but the fact that you guys take the time, energy, effort and brain power to write then share it with us all (when you don’t have to do it either)? that is appreciated beyond words. all while remembering that the people you guys write about are actual humans…you treat them with respect which is so valued. because sometimes people who put out stuff forget that.

this silly little app is more than a silly app to me. i read when i need a distraction, a laugh, to calm myself (as silly as that sounds), and everything in between. it’s truly become an outlet for me. i’ve also been able to talk to and become friends with some of the sweetest, most positive humans ever. it may all be virtual, but the people i talk to here mean so much to me. because the way they always talk to me about anything (when they don’t have to either) — that’s something that is hard for me to comprehend sometimes but am so thankful for.

connecting with the people i have on here over people we like/support has truly changed me. and i can’t imagine life without you guys. so thank you thank you thank you for continuing to do what you do. i’m so proud of y’all putting out positive pieces of literal art…whether it’s writing or something else…time and time again. 🧡
