“ Did you always want to be a Vet or was it something your family wanted and you just grew to love it?” She knows her dad loved being a cop and her mom loved law but Veronica always wondered if they always did? Did people always love the career they chose? From beginning to end? Through the good and bad?
“Oh, no, something I’ve always wanted. I think my parent’s were worried about how much I was an animal lover. They were worried I’d bring unexpected pets into the house.” And there were times that he did, especially when he was younger. He had always wanted to help animals in need out which is how he got into volunteering at the shelter. His parent’s figured it was the best way for him to take his need to help and have a positive outlet for it. “Always love related,” there had been a time in his life, back in high school, where love had been simple, it had been easy and he had done nothing but blow up his own life recently. He nodded his head to her words, “It’s easy to get lost in the fray.” Armin noted in response. Nodding his head to her words, “I’d say I get it, but no,” he hook his head, “I grew up with no siblings,” as an only child he really didn’t understand a strong sibling bond outside one that he formed with close friends but he knew that it was not the same. As his phone went off in his pocket, he looked up at Veronica, “Ah, work calling already. I will see you around, Veronica,” he smiled at her as he stood up, brushing the sand from his pants. “The animals await.”
