Michael looked out to see his house and back to her “ if you get mad about my question, or if i upset you “ he said. Biting the inside of his lip he shook his head and looked down “ So you just assumed I didn’t want to be with you ? and thought you knew what was best? well it wasn’t but you never took the time to listen to me about it 

Zendaya sighed “I assumed it because you have such this amazing life and I felt like I wasn’t right for it.” the woman said as she looked at the male and leaned her head against the steering wheel. “I’m sorry I assumed I wasn’t right for you because wow did I love you and Azalea looks just like you.”

Michael nodded his head “ just let me know when and I’ll be there” . Looking to Zendaya he sighed “ Im drunk so if you get mad at me, you can’t hold it against me “ he laughed “ But why did you break up with me Zen? 

Zendaya smiled as she looked at the male and stopped the car in his driveway “What does you being drunk have anything to do with me being mad at you?” she asked “I broke up with you because I thought it was the best option for you because it seemed like maybe that was more the life for you.”

“ Ahh shit, good them littles, I don’t think I ever did good on spelling test , and I don’t think I could pass one now thats for sure. If you need help with anything just let me know, I would love to come help bring in some snacks , and as long as I get to stay for them snacks and movie” he smiled over to her “ is that all I am now? ouch my feelings are hurt”

Zendaya smiled “If you want to come in and help me set up I would love that, I think I over bought on decorations and I know I can’t just do it all myself.” she said with a smile “Then you can stay for the treats and movie.” she said looking over at the man “Of course not, you still mean so much to me.” she said clearing her throat.

Michael smiled over to her “ Well at least schools almost out right? then you wont have to worry about grading papers at least for a few months” he said, when the couple where together it was so easy for Michael to talk to her, but it felt like they were strangers right now and he had lost any ability’s to speak to her  “ I appreciate you coming to get me” he said 

“Oh yes, this one was our final spelling test of the year and all my kids did so good, I promise them our last day of school would be a movie day and treats.” she said with a smile “It’s no problem, really, the father of my child deserves to be stuck at some bar.”

Michael looked over to the women as she asked about his night “ Uhm.. yeah I guess so, I was planning on one or two drinks and then my teamates showed up and I then got a lot more drinks in” he laughed shaking his head “ How was your night Day?” he asked looking over to her. He was a nervous wreck around her right now and he had no idea why it was so hard to talk to her.

Zendaya laughed “That happens right? You plan for just a couple drinks and then friends come along, hey it happens.” she said as she turned the corner “Well I spent most of my night looking over papers, grading spelling tests, you know all the fun teacher stuff.” she said as she swallowed the lump in her throat, why were words so hard for her to come across? Maybe it was all the damn butterflies she had in her stomach.
