Merry Christmas Friends!
Happy Diwali!
Diwali is a Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.”
Happy Diwali, everyone!
DIWALI FEST
*12th November 2020 - 16th November 2020*
It’s festive time and Diwali Fest is here to help you celebrate it across different fandoms!
Behind the name:
दीपावली (English: /ˌdiːpəˈvɑːli/ ) or दिवाली (English: /dɪˈwɑːliː/) is a term derived from Sanskrit words दीपम् ( dīpam =lamp)+ आवली ( avɑːli = row). It means Rows of Lights.
Diwali is a week-long fest of lights and we have prompts for all of you based on each day! Since Diwali dates and stories vary throughout South Asia, we have tried to find a balance and added multiple prompts!
A little information about days and prompts under the cut!

CHOCOLATE SWEET POTATO WAFFLES (V + GF)
This one feels personal, from his TV serial days to his Bollywood debut, Sushant Singh was one of our generation’s most talented actors and one of my personal favourite actors. He was one of the few who made it on his own in an industry that runs on connections and was an inspiration for many. This is a huge loss not just for Bollywood but for anyone who was familiar with him and is yet another reminder of the growing body count of our refusal to acknowledge mental health. Gone too soon but not forgotten. Sushant Singh Rajput (1986-2020)
Rest in peace, Sushant Singh Rajput (January 21, 1986—June 14, 2020)
